Why are You stated that 1.5 is so different from 2.0 p - difference is very small, to be exact is 0.5. For me 2.0 is a further errata of 1.0. If the creators stated that system need changes to develop further it is very good - but why I have to pay for it? I read very carefully cards and labels on by MalifauX model. No model have warning: This model and this stats cards can be used only in first edition of our game. Not one model. I think that I have bought a product: model + stats cards. And I think that I deserve free support for my beloved miniature company: WYRD. And I really hope that I will gain this free support … and for WYRD it will be great investment in my loyalty and my future miniature shopping.

It is time to make some estimation. There will be two faction decks for two waves of introducing models into IIed. Each will cost 8$ (some peoples give that numbers previously in discussion). So all cards for my one faction will cost 16$. I need 6 faction decks - so I will have to spend almost 100$. The Faction Decks will be “as cheap as possible” - such statement was in various podcasts. So the WYRD profit from my spending will be “as near as zero as possible”. I believe that many persons (like me myself) have a fixed budget that they can spend on hobby. So I will spend 100$ on Faction Desks instead of buying models. I suppose that if I will spend 100$ on WYRD models the WYRD’s profit will be bigger than from the same amount of my many spent on “as cheap as possible” faction decks. So free PDF are in fact a good thing for WYRD economy - in my case at least. I also presume that “my case” is common in WYRD players community.

I would rather prefer if We will be able to stick to the point (free printable version of Faction Decks as free download). The one (and probably only) argument against free PDF stated by about half of the forum users that had take part it this discussion is that You want to pay (or even pay more) for Faction Decks. So if You want to purchase a Fraction Decks why are You against free printable PDF? You don’t have even to open this hypothetic PDF. Why You assume that free PDF will generate losses for company? Maybe this free PDF will bring more people to play the game? In this moment we have free rules and all cards from first book all also free - why You are willing to change this? And still nobody from WYRD make a statement about this issue - please, give me (us) some answer.

And this is a point: for couple of months I will be buying card and protectors instead making my collection of MalifauX models even larger.

So all cards for all my 6 fractions will cost me 8$ - fine, so there is no problem for me. What People opposing free PDF are missing is the fact that Public Beta Testing will probably base on free rules and stats cards in PDF format. So WYRD will have to prepare such materials and allows free distribution (please correct me if I am wrong). So it will be not a hard work to make a little changes after Public Beta and still offer cards for free. And once more time I will stress: I love spending my money on WYRD products but instead of purchasing cards I prefer purchasing models.

I love the idea of IIed of my favorite wargame. For about a year I was waiting for the new revised rules - MalifauX really needs change. And in this moment I am very glad with the changes that was revealed in podcasts. But I am also surprised, surprised by fact that most of Us, most of MalifauX players, such easy accept the fact that we will have to buy a new stats cards for our collection of models (or even buy it twice - after the first and second wave of public playtests). I woluld prefer to spend my money on some new models from WYRD. I really want to spend cash on Your products - do not force me to spend money on sheets of papers, please - You are a proud miniature company. I know .... most others miniatures companies make people to pay for new edition materials, but WYRD was supposed to by WEIRD. Am I right? Another fact: I have heard in podcast that Faction Decks will be cheap - very good. But in this moment I collect and play: Guild, Neverborn, Ressers, Gremlins, Outcasts and Arcanists. Will together the six Faction Decks (which I need) be cheap? I have my doubts. In my small playing community most people have at least 3 fraction, some have more - so it would be problem for many people. What is important: free M2E Stats Cards in simple printable pdf format DO NOT exclude beautiful and elaborate Faction Decks - I would gladly buy one, with the time passing maybe more, for my favorite fractions. Please WYRD (as a WEIRD company) rethink the issue of free M2E stats cards in printable pdf format. One way or another: In WYRD we trust ...

Will the IIed stats cards be available also (apart from Faction Decks) as pdf downloads?

I also observe that some of the schemes are easier to accomplish than others – and players tend to choose this easier schemes to gain a victory. Maybe, the most frequently taken schemes should be worth less victory points to balance the game: 1 VP and 1,5 VP if announced will make big difference and force players to consider harder to accomplish schemes.

I have limited experience with my Neverborn crew focusing on using Nekima efficiently http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?32531-Nephilim-grow-list-with-Nekima-25-SS I had played with this list two times, once against LJ and once against Perdita. Basing on this battles I think that Nekima only problem is survivability. She speeds the grow of TT without wasting good cards, she has great melee potential but she is to easy to kill. Regeneration 4 will be good – but Hard to Wound and Regeneration 2 will be better. From my perspective this two changes will make Nekima worth of 13 SS. Of course in my The Perfect World the changes will be bigger: Nekima will be Henchmen and will have a ability to transform Blood Counters into Soulstones (or use BC instead of SS).

You are right - Lilith have to kill DM - Nekima should be in proximity to use Blood Sence.

But You face some problems using BBShaman to grow TT: 1. You need 9 Mask to cast Grow 2. Shaman is slow and easier to kill than Nekima (easier to hide of course) 3. You need another model to kill Desperate Mercenary - Nekima can do it themselves using Melee Expert and still moves 12 inches Nekima grants TT and Young Nephilims: - Grow on 5 of every suit - Sprint cast with auto two mask gives TT move of 10 inches - auto Flay Trigger - Regeneration 1 And Nekima is fast with great melee potential - apart for being best model I have ever seen.

Lilith - Nekima 13 SS - Desperate Mercenary (DM) 2SS - Terrot Tot (TT) 3 SS - Terrot Tot 3 SS - Terrot Tot 3 SS - one free SS The plan is simple – grow all three TT in first turn and gain as much ground as possible. Killing DM in proximity of Nekima will grant us two blood token (BT), Nekima hurting themselves will generate one BT. Nekima will grant additional mask to Ca of TT – and TT will use it casting Sprint and Grow (they need only 5s of any suit). At the beginning of turn two my list should take shape of: Lilith + 5 SS - Nekima 13 SS (with 0-3 wound missing, it depends on Healing Flip from DM’s Last Noble Deed ) - Young Nephilim 6 SS - Young Nephilim 6 SS - Young Nephilim 6 SS Total: 32 SS I tested this list only once, against Perditta – and this list worked fine.
