Malifaux are not Ronin in the traditional sense, even book 1 says they are Ronin in that they are wandering mercenaries. Malifaux Ronin are not displaced Samurai, they're all fugitives working as hired guns to survive. They have their parallels like prefer suicide over the noose, but they're not wandering to find a new master. The new Ronin don't look like wandering criminals, they look like belles who took up swords instead of claws. Its more noticeable in the art, than on the models. Its just one of those things I find odd with a lot of the art complaints is that for every thing they point on the new sculpts, there usually something just as bad in the old sculpts.

Viktoria has still come a long way from battle bikini. Even the current alt Vik sculpt has the open vest, so the new model isn't exactly sporting a new outfit. I'm concerned with their hair getting progressively whiter with each new art. I don't find the new Justice all that bad either. I mean she used to go into battle basically wearing a corset. About the only thing I don't like about the Ronin is they look more 10T than Outcasts now.

1/2)The models are still fine to use, but you'll need the new cards. Really the only difference in most of the new boxes is that you get the master specific totem in them. 3)Minion versions of Misaki and Hamelin will no longer have rules. They are both still playable masters (well one of them is still waiting for his rules), just they can't be taken as minions any more.

Model wise I have a lot of wave 2, but master wise I think Hamlin, and Molly are the only ones I own.

I'm either the only player of most of the factions I need, or I have so much of it I can't realistically split the deck with anyone. I think my resser pack is the only one where I won't be keeping all the cards, and my levi cards would be going to me roommate if he wasn't pushed to Wave 2.

The only reason I can afford to buy a starter is because I won a book. Out of 150ish cool guy points, 120 of that is Tara and arsenals. I think the only model I'll own without rules will be War Cock.

Tempted on Vik box since I like the Taelor and Student in it. Ronin and Viks I'm indifferent too since I prefer the the sculpts I already own. Lilith and Raspy are the two I'm debating the most since I don't own those masters yet. Well I have everything except Lilith from her old box (got my neverborn 2nd hand and she had no sword arm), but I love the new Nephilim designs. May get the Death Marshal later and paint them up to match Tara's crew, and if i did get more Ronin paint them to match my Misaki crew. May get the Seamus box later since that box imo has the best models out of the pre-release.

So finally able to access my Wamp gallery.... several months after the contest I initially wanted it for. Miscast on my model for it also kind of put nails in the coffin for that plan. I need to sit down sometime now and touch my metal models, and take some non-ass pictures of a few of them. Also need to convert a bunch of them into collage shots.

He's definitely the oldest, but not Levi/Zoraida old. He's just really fit for his age.
