    Nice. I missed that. Interesting. Idk about paying 9 for OoK DMR, but it's neat for a minion with a stat 6 and built in 3/4/6. Also it would make it even harder for the opponent to get rid of the Aura.

    That's an interesting idea. But the "don't discard this upgrade" is only in the Expert Hunter rule, not on the upgrade generally or on the DMR I'm pretty stoked for Thick Padding. You could play hyper aggressive with Papa Loco chucking dynamite right next to your own crew and not having to worry about his explosive demise.

    Yeah it pee your opponent in a really bad position. They either ignore the model as it shuts down a lot of thier crew's power, or they burn AP killing it knowing it's coming back next turn. It's a bit strange too since, while it makes Pistileros and Monster Hunters more important to the crew, there's even less of a reason to ever hire them.
  4. I think I'm going to be posting Pere more. I always bring Merris, but more burning is more gooder. Kin is going to be a pretty brutal match up for crews who like to stack burning on themselves.

    Agreed. A Por El is now card cycling if they Concentrate near Perdita. The summon is pretty great too. Pistileros with +1 and a built in okay offensive models. If they make it to Monster Hunter they're sitting in stat 6 built in Family Values attacks. And the upgrades absolutely devastate some crews. Big No Obey Aura. Ignore Incorporeal, Ignore Blasts or Black Blood. Ignoring Terrain shenanigans is going to be rough on a lot of crews. The summons may become a priority target. Which is pretty ideal for a summoned model with Shielded 2.
  6. Looking at her, I think she looks neat. With a couple exceptions, I don't think the models will actually be using the upgrades. Since you're going to want them for that plink, flinch combo. Also you're going to want to have them on three models of turn to discard them for her bonus action. Kin usually aren't having problems putting damage out. Using tar bomb on things that have burning seems like a pretty big one though. I think she really needed to get Plentiful 2 on her upgrades, like other upgrade masters. Five upgrades in a 10 plus model crew seems like they're going to be spread pretty thin.
  7. Each discarded upgrade let's you do one if those things once. So if you want to draw three cards or summon three young LaCroix you need to dump three upgrades.

  9. I think Grave Spirit's touch would be better. Regen +2 so you can keep using him as a marker or he can Blasphemous Ritual himself for a focus pulse. He's the best source of scrap in faction for Extra Arms. I think he's just about auto include for Mc2.
  10. I'm not worried about it. I've been looking at the rules for tens of minutes and haven't seen anything broken. Seeing him has actually made me less concerned about a Master I thought would be OP, nuHoffman. There seems to be a lot of generic marker removal in Malifaux Burns. Given that NewMourning can remove up to 6 plyons a turn, it seems like a rough match up.
  11. It took a while. I'm not a bright man. I was thinking about that. The RRR rules say "Drop the removed marker," not drop a marker of the same type. So I think you'd use the exact marker ie the same Mindless Zombie that was removed. But they're aren't rules for "dropping" models only markers. So I think you get a corpse back.
  12. It seems like it would be kind of hard to keep the poison stacked, since it ticks down 3 every end phase, and another 2 if you mess up and have him too close to a Catalyst model. On top of models bringing condition removal, if they know you're running a poison crew. It seems like McM2 wants to do more with marker shenanigans than poison, and just sorta let poison happen, if it happens. Yeah, Loot their Corpse seems really amazing in this crew, either on Guild Autopsies or from the Killer Instinct upgrade. A pretty impressive soulstone engine.
  13. McMourning got paired with McCabe. Any other bets on who Brewmaster gets paired with? Sandeep for poison Golem?
  14. Twisted Genius isn't a bonus action. But yeah, it does put 4 wounds on Corpse Curator though. It's also neat because McMourning can attach Extra Legs to the Curator, then later use the Curator as a corpse, stop the damage, use Re-use to get another corpse and get a corpse from detaching Extra Legs. The more I think about it the more fun interactions there are.
  15. Yeah, NuMcMourning has lost a lot of surviability. Organ Donor is gone. His Hard to Wound too, and he dropped from 6 to 5 df. Field Testing has made him and his crew a little less survivable too. Disguised and =1 Health help a little. Definitely wants to hide behind stuff in the back line now. He looks like he does a whole lot for scheming though. Reduce Reuse Recycle protects Scheme Markers within 8" of him. And Spare Head seems big, since a scheme runner with it is potentially dropping a scheme marker when either player damages the model.
  16. Thought of one combo. Nurses have Tools for the Job. If you've got a mask to throw away, she can have Rouge Necromancy's attack with a guaranteed mask for Pouncing Strike. If you got her the flurry upgrade she's potentially making 6 savage bites a turn. Lol
  17. I think there are others. Also I know there's got to be something cool you can do with Too Much Skin's +2 to simple duels and Plastic Surgery.
  18. I think I'd do it the other way around, since Ressers have more dead rush living minions Make to upgrade restricted to non-living. Something like: Loyal Servant This model gains the following abilities: Still Breathing- As long as this model has this upgrade attached, it counts as Living, and cannot use the Terrifying, Hard to Wound or Incorporeal abilities During the start phase reduce this models health to 3. It may not be healed as long as as it has this upgrade attached. Demise (Back from the Dead): When this model is killed, it heals completely and discards this upgrade. If it has Incorporeal drop a corpse marker in base contact. Though admittedly that doesn't help Shieldbearers get thier groove back.
  19. I like this idea. Nico used to have something like it, but it was lost because it was too strong. Maybe capping how high it can go. How strong it should end up being kind of depends on how expensive the model is. I was thinking around 8-9ss in the price range of other summon/support models like Death Marshall Recruiters or Toshiro.
  20. I was thinking Minion, like a generic guy. I think most enforcers are named characters. Like Grave Diggers are generic versions of Mortimer, they'd be like generic versions of Nico or Rotten. Maybe Summon like: Cast 5 TN 15 Once per turn Summon a Mindless Zombie or Minion that shares a Keyword with this crew's Leader with cost 4 or less in base contact with target corpse marker, then remove that marker. Or may maybe the lower the TN and have the special summon on a Trigger. Then like Command Corpse and a mediocre attack or utility ability.
  21. I think Barbaros is a pretty g good leader pick. At least at 9ss he's going to get a little more utility out of an extra AP then cheaper henchman. And he opens a bunch of new model interactions. I think my biggest concern is that it's a 16ss card draw engine. It gets 4 cards a turn +2 for every additional model you commit to it. I might try a Lelu, or two, + Yannic. With just two models you don't have to worry about Auras as much and can be a little more mobile. With Yannic the Lelu can interact for a marker and then pick it up with Good For a Laugh for 3 card draw.

  23. Something I always wanted to see for a lot of factions was a generic faction model. Like a generic Resurrectionist. The run of the mill necromancers that populated the Ressers ball and Nico killed in droves to build his undead army. Maybe a minion that has a Attuned and maybe a minor summoning and undead buffing action. I guess that's kinda outside of realm of the next release. Outside of that more Zombie/Mortuary models to pave the way for Nico to come back.
