i superglue everything! I used to collect model aircraft when i was younger and always hated waiting for the poly cement to go off so now i find super glue ideal for GW and all Malifaux products

Well i glued mine in a running pose and i too only used 4 pins! Im not sure but i think the other 2 were for the hip joints? If you look on the assembely instructions when the legs join the body the part looks different to the actual sprue part! Im not at home right now but will take a pic and post it if anyone is wondering what im on about! Also i almost glued the head and arms on backwards! School boy error!! Managed to get it apart again and correct the mistake! Lucky but got ot painted and the blue rubber hoses kept flaking paint so had to matt cote them before carrying on! ! Anyone else have this problem?

ok guys this is going to be a short lived thread requiring only 1 answer! On some of my stat cards the word magical appears next to a weapon but when i look in the rules manual i cannot find what its effects are? So the question is:- What does magical do to a weapon? Ps. If its in the manual can someone point me to it as im sure my eyes are painted on some times! Cheers

there is The Giant's Lair in Plymouth its a gaming venue with a store but not sure if they do Malifaux? I use firestorm games, Arcane miniatures, WarGameStore.com (freeshipping if not in a rush takes 5 days) never had a problem with Wayland games but others have so its hit and miss but ive noticed they are slow at getting new products in. big price difference though from store to store, just notices WarGameStore.com are selling Lazarus for £15 and everyone else is around £10 ish! but most of the stores offer between 10-15% discount! maelstrom offer biggest discount but poor service

good job Grifonetto! I was wondering did you consider painting the detail on the blue pipes? got my Lazarus in the post and want to make a feature out of them instead of leaving them pure blue??

wp resists and poor flips saw Hammy gone! just the luck of the draw really! Tavish hid so lost my chance at pipers lure then popped out and combat took some wounds off then Somer passed some will power dueal and then the combat finished Hammy off. just the way it goes sometimes.

ah yeah defensive stance yet another ability i forget about often! thanks Omenbringer :-) and Serigala! the Ronin idea is cool too! activate the viks after sisters in spirit should get them across the board quickly! some tactics worth trying to remember! :-) thanks again.

completely played Hammy TRC wrong last week! deployed first ended up facing Somer who is height 2 so bully was useless and then McTavish! didnt really get a chance to do anything great then Hammy died!! classic case of hide and seek gremlins. Somer finished Hammy off! better luck next time Hammy!! but played properly Hammy has some awesome tricks which i hope to get revenge with soon (Scurry) :Rat_BloodyPaw:

I have minimal experience with Hammy TRC, but i watched Him obey Snow Storm off the board which was pretty cool! also if you opponant is using gremlins! his bully ability comes in very handy get him into the other half of the board and obey, Pipers lure and black death till ya hearts content!mind the black death though 18inch range could take wounds off your own crew! any way!! im going to try this myself so hopefully will have a better idea on using this technique!! 6 inch range on the dog too! out of most melee range sounds great!! im a fan of HammyTRC just need to use him more!!

Thanks to all who have commented there are some really good ideas here! ive only been playing a few months and against much better opponants! so remembering spells and triggers isnt my strong suit but with all this advice i think i may be able to put a usefull tactic together for my next game! Depending on schemes and strats i think i may be shifting focus to McM but i really do need to get them Belles out the way as i seem to just feed them with Mini's! The LoS idea is a good one could get Vik's up the board quickly without being dragged into harms way! whirlwind and sister in battle sounds like a great combo! hopefully the flips will be in my favour next time? Appreciate all the tips guys! as you may have guessed! putting tactics together isnt my strong suit! tend to end up playing defensively so the help will hopefully improve my play!! cheers again everyone!

yeah i see the flaw!! i play the same opponant regular and he always gets me with lure so my idea is to kill the belles so i can get to McM! the possible sacrifice of the sword vik can be over come with sacrificing a ronin to get her back! but I see your point! them pesky belles and McM are my targets then i can deal with the rest afterwards! just need to formulate a workable plan!!

so after thinking a lot about how to get across the board to kill Rotten Belles ive come up with, after deployment! have Hammy The Rat Catcher obey Vik Bounty to her walk twice then have Vik Bounty walk once then sisters in spirit Vik sword up to 3 inches fron her then charge Vik Swordy into Rotten Belle's and hopefully get the whirlwind trigger and melee expert off this should see belles gone, and cure the lure problem which is feeding my Outcasts to McMourning on a regular basis!! then hopefully use stones to defend Vik Swordy then on next activation hopefully get both Viks to McMourning and Pow Right in the kisser!! (as long as he isnt pumped full of drugs) ok guys as this is my first actual thought on this subject! is it possible and is there anything you guys can suggest which could make this better? Edit: nevermind ive just remembered Obey can only target non-master models!! but please help me figure this out anyway!! cheers!!

ignores cover and only ignores armour if it has the ignore armour ability! if ya read both rules hunter doesnt say it ignores any other effect except cover. and ignores the:-fate if the target has armour# then this is applied to the target and reduces the damage accordingly.

if i read the first post correct? Heartsbane was asking if a model was in B2B contact peice of obscuring terrain which is narrower than 3inches! meaning stood behind something? could the model be targeted? If I am understaning this to be the case, 3 inches is still wider than the 30mm base if the obscuring object is part of a wall and if the base of the model is not in LoS surely this means the model can not be targeted? and receives cover!! and only models with the ignore cover rule can target this model! so I would say no it cannot be targeted if LoS cannot be gained. if the obscuring terrain is less than 3 inches deep such as a small shrub or tree then LoS can be achieved according to the rule book if Los is drawn 3inch or less and the obscuring object Ht is less than both models Ht then the model has partial Los and gains soft cover! feel free to correct me if i have misread the rule!! :-)

going on what you guys have been saying ive used wayland and only problem ever had was log in issues but once that was sorted the only real issue was i needed to order V2 cards for 3 minis which cost me 18USD extra bit of a bummer, but as for delivery not a problem. i used arcane once spot on service i then used a company called Wargamestore.com who give free delivery if ya not in a rush for the mini, takes 4 days to come! and last but not least I used trolltrader.co.uk all spot on! I tend to stick with wargamestores.com. I know maelstrom offer some cool discounts but the stock issues keep me from ordering, so I stick with the 10% from wargamestore with the good delivery!!

Hey Sarge! I second the motion of picking up ten thunders as the companion rule works well but if ya in melee and ya lose the initive it can work out costly ! but the 6 inch melee range does come in very handy! Im working on a Misaki re-model looking good so far! just need to paint her well to do it justice!! the Ronin are pretty good too so get both! Ronin and thunder Bros! Ive got Ronin on order!! Oh and if ya play against another viks crew use ya Ronin as my ten thunders suffered greatly against Ronin lol have fun!

finances will stop me coming to WW on 31st! shame though would love to see the mechanics of the game!! Anyway!! Angelica and the mechanic doves! (sounds like a band )!! pretty cool !
