If you have Ophelia next to the 'pault along with Pere, can you companion with Pere, Family Tree the 'pault, then launch Pere and then activate him after the 'pault is done?

Enjoyed it. You guys use a very low amount of terrain in my opinion. That makes shooty crews like the Ortegas much, much stronger.

The Skeeter Chain actually seems really abusive. You can just chain-summon skeeters while your opponent activates stuff, then you can take your entire activation with the rest of your crew after them. Methinks Skeeters may need some Cuddling.

So I live in upstate NY which means for 1/2 of the year I can't really use my outdoor back porch to let my primer dry. I noticed that after putting matte varnished models in my refrigerator they dried well without any problems and I was wondering if that would work equally well for spray primer?

Good start so far! Add a plaid effect to the coat. It's very simple. Just paint a grid, then paint a lighter color in each square, then paint a dot of a different color at each intersecting line. It looks awesome

You can cast Git Yer Bro using a Slop Hauler to summon the Gremlin? I thought you needed a normal Bayou Gremlin to target with the spell?

If you're within 1" of a piece of terrain that would provide cover, you can choose to ignore that for purposes of providing soft or hard cover. So if you're peeking out from behind a crate, you can shoot just fine, though unless they're 1" from that same crate they're getting a negative twist on the shot back.

Fittingly, with Som'er Teeth! Ophelia's "Ohh a Girl" really helped out his mobility. My favorite part of that event was Perdita being killed by Malifaux Rats.

I had a blast in the beginners tourney. I came in second with Ressers playing Seamus all day because he's the only Res master I have. I'm very comfortable playing him and he's a lot of fun and that was my goal for the day. I caught some huge breaks to get as far as I did. Round 3 my opponent forgot about his evidence marker in my deployment zone (he put it behind a building, I didn't pay much attention to it either) and I barely was able to destroy the one I put in my own and was able to pull ahead with schemes. Round 4 my opponent forgot to use a 2nd cast of Repulsive with Zorida. It shouldn't have been an issue if I had remembered he hadn't activated her yet. As it were he wasn't able to push Seamus off the claim jump and I got him on schemes. I had a great time all weekend and had a blast playing with and meeting everyone there. I continue to love playing games with wargamers and wish I had taken more time out of my weekend to play more league games as the ones I played were a blast (even the one where Z had Hoffman do 48 damage in a single activation :hahaha:)

Yeah, basically I wanted to know if you can ask your opponent his or her hand size at any time. Same would probably go for Soulstone pool as well, just in case anyone tries to pull that. I think it's a bit git-ish, but w/e.

Just a question to sate the rules lawyers () of our area, what qualifies as public information in Malifaux? I'd presume any rules about your models (including status and counters), soulstone cache, hand size, but mostly wondering about hand size as I couldn't find anything in the RM about it.

Jack Daw helps make the Copycat Killer more viable if you want to play with the cute little guy. When they can't cheat their defensive flip you have a much better shot of hitting and doing some serious hurting.

My search-fu may be weak, or my buddy may be a poor reader, but the question is in the topic: If Jack Daw takes, say, two wounds, does he have to discard two cards/soulstones or only one?

I used Citadel paints because that's what my FLGS sells and they're by no means bad, and the little bit extra I pay is to help support the store, so no big.
