Hopkins would be an obvious choice based on the fluff but for me the mini just doesn't look the part, it'd need an alt sculpt. Because of that the judge would be my choice.

They're a damn sight better than my first minis looked! There's plenty of videos and tutorials available online (have a look in the miniature matters section), a couple of small things can make a big difference. I've found the Malifaux minis really easy to paint compared to other companies stuff, a basecoat, wash and drybrush is generally enough to get a nice looking model.

Does anyone know if there's any pre-existing doubles rules anywhere? Having our doubles game tomorrow and have no clue what we're doing!

Depends if you regularly play against the same faction or if it's a mixture. Some characters are completely wasted against some opponents (e.g. witchling's magical protection against a melee orientated crew like the Vikis is just a waste). It's worth getting a varied mix of minions to cover everything you might need. For 25SS I normally use; Lady J Scales of Justice Executioner Convict Gunslinger Judge, Santiago Ortega or Samael Hopkins (depending on opponent) With that combo I've only ever lost once and that was against a Lilith crew (that was an absolute slaughter though!).

Ha ha, this made me laugh so much. Especially loving the pole dancing ice gamin, wish I'd thought of that one!

I had similar issues with the dancing gamin, although thankfully mine only bent rather than snapping. With a lot of Rasputina's stuff (mainly gamin, silent one and wendigo) I've found it easier to leave a small section of the tab rather than cutting the whole thing away. Leaving a small section under the foot and filing it round to make a pin puts a lot less strain on the weak joints and you're not worrying about pinning thin components too.

Ras al ghul as a desperate merc, killer croc/solomon grundy/clayface as Killjoy, Mr Zsasz as a convict gunslinger? I'd love to see Crazy /quilt in there somewhere too!

Nice work, loving the theme. How about a Catwoman/Misaki at some point? Maybe even go old school and have a Gaggy/student of conflict?

I've got the alt sculpt of Rasputina and want to paint her with really pale skin but have no idea how to get the desired look. Does anyone have any recommendations (using GW paints) on how to do this?

For crew selection is it faction limited or is it any combination that would normally be allowed for a brawl (e.g. could you have Hoffman/Ramos?).

KR Multicase in the UK do some really nice metal cases with Malifaux specific trays. They're a bit more manly looking too

I agreed that plastic is easier to work with and grat for converting but it just feels wrong on the table, I like the heft of a metal mini. There is always the option (like the nightmare teddie) to offer minis with multiple head/limb options to allow for crews that look more individual.

They look awesome, makes me slightly ashamed of my own crew!

Add a Pandy/woe crew for me to the list, maybe with some Lilith/nephilim stuff added if I finish early. Started the old Pandy avatar last night, I know it's now been scrapped but it's so much more interesting than the normal one so gonna use it as an alternative.
