  1. I'm about to go out and clear coat the three SPA's I painted yesterday and then put brush to the last one. Thought I was done with necrotic flesh for a while when I opened up my case and saw 2/3 necropunks anxiously awaiting a paint job.
  2. Those are top notch! You should seriously make some patches available in your web store. I know I'd be buying.
  3. The interactions of Seamus and Molly make them my two favorite characters. But as others have said, I find Dr. McMourning's dubious double life as the guild's mortician who has plenty of spare parts to make his creations really inspired background. I also really like the Rusty Alyce bits from book one.
  4. Flesh colors with grey look great but I sometimes like to mix straight pink (the vallejo equivalent of gw's discontinued tentacle pink) with a codex grey type color. It should yield a pretty dark and almost purplish flesh and might go well with the kimono's color scheme you described.
  5. That was such a great episode of The Gamer's Lounge! But it's been two weeks and I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on all the teasers we've been getting from Wyrd recently.
  6. I just finished rusty alyce and a desolation engine. Just have to paint the 4 steam punk abominations and the starter box is finished. Then I have to go pick up some extra hollow waifs this weekend.
  7. Outstanding work! Great use of the mantic zombies on the bases as well.
  8. My Malifaux bag arrived on Friday and I love it! I especially like the utility compartment on the back of the bag even if I wish some of the pockets were a bit larger. I can see myself having to purchase a 2nd bag before too long though if I keep collecting crews at the rate I have been over the past year. Maybe battlefoam will make a larger malifaux specific bag, probably not but I know I'd purchase it.
  9. Great looking models! What did you use to make the stagecoach?
  10. I second this one it's definitely good for some laughs. For any fans of the Guild I'd recommend the spaghetti western, Django. The main character has a major similarity to the death marshals.
  11. "Dark Portals: The Chronicles of Vidocq" Is available for instant streaming on netflix. Do you know if this is an alternate title for the first film or a sequel? It looks interesting.
  12. I'd say that's a fair assumption. The thimble puppet is really funny but I think I like the facial expression on the stuck puppet the best.
  13. Haha the Lady J avatar is my new favorite! I was hoping maybe they'd do some zombie version of her for the Rezzers but if she's a headless avatar then that's classic.
  14. So far I love it! I look forward to seeing some spirits ripping people to shreds. Keep it up.
  15. It's from Batman and Robin, a travesty of a film where George Clooney wore the nipple suit, and those lines from Arnold are some of the best throughout the movie. Actually I'd probably love hanging out with Raspy if she made terrible ice puns the whole time because I can't stop laughing watching the Mr. Freeze video. "Icy, freezy, cold, chill. let's kick some ice!" hahaha classic! Although I think you may have found the true reason why devotees of the Cult of December must have their tongues cut off.

  17. Wow I'm really interested to see what they do with that mini. In my defense, I swear that wasn't up when I posted this.
  18. There's also a great podcast called The Aethervox who featured a very comprehensive interview with Karn from these forums about using Pandora. Welcome to the game!
  19. Haha ninja'd:doh:. I was 90/10 that someone had to have caught this before me. It looks so mean though, I can't wait to see a larger image!
  20. Not sure how long this has been out or whether or not it's common knowledge by now but I went to grab a smiley in another thread a few moments ago and saw something that made me very excited :arasputina The smiley is listed as ARasputina! I love how you Wyrd gents spoil us with hidden easter eggs!
  21. A little late notice on this one but The Realm Games and Comics just posted an update on their website for a Malifaux Day tomorrow, the 2nd of July. Looks like the event will be running all afternoon. If you're in the area stop by with your crew and get a game or two in, and they're also offering demos for new players. You can find The Realm's info here http://therealmgames.com/ It's a great store with some cool Malifaux specific terrain (made by yours truly ) See you there!
  22. I wish I was going to Gencon even more now! I also suspected Teddy to be one of the nightmare editions and I would love to see what they do with the lovable bear. The number of releases Wyrd has planned for us this year is astounding. Great interview, Bill!
  23. I bought the AquilaFour case that came with a tray of pluck foam and 2 of the F-3H trays which work very well for Malifaux minis. I've found them to be plenty deep and wide enough to accommodate most of the minis. I primarily play rezzers so I have some zombies in strange poses that have been hauled about with no damage what so ever. I used the pluck foam to store all my counters, tape measure, cards, etc. But it would be perfect for larger models like Ice Golems and Lord Chompy bits. I don't think you can go wrong with the recommended F-3H series.
  24. Haha agreed on your second point. But if the breasts were painted like armor then what would be holding all that flayed skin up? I think the nipples make it - those are some tough nipples.
