I'm back from a long hiatus and decided to share a bit of commision work after getting a airbrush So to start as good as finished WIP

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Cambridge/Peterborough area that stocks the model air range! Airbrush turns up tommorow and I want to have some fun with it rather than wait for mail order!

I'd stick to the faux, been collecting for a while but only just started to play, now have a regular opponent and we started by using the basics. Ie shared strategy (treasure hunt) and ignored schemes. The australian battle bunker do a really good you tube I'd on how to play its aHour long but gives the basics. The combo hunting is the hardest part, but looking at the various tactics threads on here they get easier to spot! From what I've heard infinity is more complicated than malifaux.

I'd hit it with a heavy wash and then paint thin layers of the base on top. As with white I think pale and light colours work best with extreme shade and highlightin, just use lots of thin layers to get the transition.

Looking good esspecially like the doves, looking forward to finished bases

Bit of highlighting on the flames and it's all good, just a personal preference but the base is a little plain! Raspy when coated in magic washes should look good to with the depth a wash will add.

Cheers all paints are GW The weapon team was base coat black, tin blitz, dwarf bronze, sepia wash, more dwarf bronze highlights poss even a little chainmail added for final high lights. The verdigris is 50/50 hawk turquoise and dark angel green watered down with water to make a wash. Slap it all over the bronze and use a brush to take off the excess so it pools where you want it. The technique is based on the GW guide to painting the screaming bell on their website. The rat ogre was just boltgun metal and a heavy delvan mud wash.

Quality and your non red red idea has been stolen only using the foundation orange from gw. Cannot believe the finish is so much better than the blending of many different reds! Keep up the good work!

Big apology have been without Internet for over a month, due to changing providers, Sky have been promising me a router for over a month now and can't hijack with my own router as they won't let me have my username and password! Any way as soon as I have recovered from honeymoon(yeah also been and got married this month) and received a router I'll post Augusts work, 1 death Marshall and take September as my joker!

Managed to get a lot done today. Base coated a performer and boy what a joy they are to paint, also finished makingthe bases for the showgirls

Again it all depends with GW I'll paint the model and then paint the base, however with malifaux as I tend to cut my base tabs off and pin to the base, I'll paint them at the same time and glue the fig on after everything is painted.
