  4. Tartan Skirmish Radio *will* be fighting for out Honour! WITH A U! Was waiting for DavidKerrSmith to take the challenge, but I guess I'll need to make the jump and hope he backs me up
  5. Final Results for the day: David Hamilton, Neverborn 1st Greg Findlay, Neverborn 2nd Mook, Neverborn, 3rd Alan Nicholson, Guild, 4th Mark Bonatti, Neverborn, 5th Adam Davies, Outcasts, 6th Gordon Hamilton, Guild, 7th Paul Sinclair, Arcanists, 8th David McGuire, Ressurectionists, 9th Mark Watson, Guild, 10th Dave Clarke, Guild, 11th Martin Nicol, Guild, 12th The best painted crew prize was taken by Paul Sinclair for a well executed and unified scheme. The general consensus was that Master of the Hill had too large a "Hill" and that accumulation scoring changed the dynamic of the game more than they had realised! Thanks to everyone that showed up and I hope that a good day was had by all!
  6. I think there was an issue with unsolicited advertorials (spam to you and me). I assume(and this is a guess), they are offline while they sort the issue out.
  7. I am ultra pleased to announce that the first event of 2013 in Glasgow will be held on the 20th of January (a Sunday), in a secret bunker on Wellington Street(well Number 40, on the ground floor). Location is here , note that the Google image is out of date, these offices are now occupied by the YES charity. The event will be 25 ss, so any starter crew you may have got at Christmas will be eligible, scoring will the Domination format, schemes can only be used once(i.e taking Framed for Murder in Round 1 means you cant use it in Round 2 or 3), and depending on numbers we will have 3 rounds of 90 minutes with plenty of space in between. Cost will be £8 per head, which includes venue hire and prize support. The Gaining Grounds 2012-13 Testing Pack rules all apply. We don't have a time limit so if numbers are good this may be 4 rounds, we will see nearer the time. You can grab your info pack at http://www.g3gamers.co.uk/?post_type=document&p=150 Round 1 is Shared Land Grab (Gaining Ground) Round 2 is Shared Treasure Hunt (Gaining Ground) Round 3 is Shared Master Of The Hill If we have a 4th round due to large numbers it will be Shared Slaughter and times for each round will reduce accordingly. The venue is easily accessible by public transport, and parking is available near the building. Glasgow city centre is well serviced with eateries and coffee shops, so there are no worries about food availability. See you there! Attendees 1 - Dave McGuire 2 - Mark Bonatti 3 - Mook Le Mook 4 - Adam Davies 5 - Greg Findlay 7 - Jonny West 8 - Victoria Denning 9 - William Logan 10 - Alan Nicholson 11 - David Hamilton 12 - Scott Burry 13 - Mark Watson

  16. http://www.g3gamers.co.uk/?post_type=document&p=61 Ladies, gentleman and others, Welcome to Malifaux, where a battle is being raged for the very soul of the world, and you sir, madam or thing, are invited to stake a claim and play your part in the future of the city... Dead Heat is a worldwide Malifaux campaign that will decide the fate of the city(and the winning faction gets a henchman resculpt!) Dead Heat in No Mean City is the slightly more murderous and Scottish twist on the theme...an eight week achievement league in which you can participate as much or as little as you like and still have a chance at some goodies, whilst getting a chance to start, grow or revisit your malifaux collection. The Glasgow Games Group ( G3 ) league is called the Northern Winds League. The Spellbound Games one is called the Southern Wastes League. Each player can only be registered for one league, but can play people from the other league for bonus points. The culmination of the two will be a TBA one day special event in which even better prizes can be won, glory achieved and fun had. Entering could not be simpler, simply download the linked PDF, send me a message either here on the Wyrd Forums stating your real life name, forum name. which league your are registering for and which faction you will be using. The best part? It's FREE TO ENTER! You get points and glory for playing a game you would have played anyway! (prizes are going to based on the total number entered, so will be announced later). Any questions or queries please get in touch!

  20. Ive had the honour of seeing these in the flesh and they are so much better than the photo's give them credit for. There are cheaper Wild West /Gothic Fantasy thinsg around, (WorldWorks for example), but these are the best Ive seen. Aha...found it...I saw this recently and it screamed Malifaux at me too: http://escenografiaepsilon.blogspot.com/search/label/28mm The vegetable garden, walls and shack seem perfect for it. As an aside...OMG its *the* shuttler! This guy is awesome in all respects. (goes back to stalking from afar)
