  1. Yes, the podcast. It really is fantastic.

  2. You must check out Welcome to Night Vale.

  3. In that for single episode the term "space cowboy" would have been apt, yes.
  4. I promise, I'll figure out a way to hate you to death first.
  5. If by "doing your homework" you mean newbie traps and false choices.
  6. I'd like to remind you that this is when things turn to **** in Jurassic Park.
  7. It's going to achieve cathartic first world distraction from life.
  8. It's an edition change, my good man. There's bound to be all kinds of howling.
  9. I'm saying that the fact that everyone I showed the art to didn't like it proves nothing.
  10. I've posted my thoughts on the new arts in detail already, but I'd like to mention that in my gaming circle outside of Malifaux, the art is getting panned, and it's got me curious. I don't believe one anecdotal evidence from a guy biased against the new art means anything, but I think maybe try it for yourself as an experiment to see how potential new players might view the art.
  11. Regarding what? Did you mistakenly take this podcast as empirical proof that M2e is a bad game?
  12. Gonna have to watch this one in pieces. I'll do an hour by hour breakdown.
  13. Yeah, this is what they should do. A 1.5 forum.
  14. Running is just more fun, I think. Unless you like dickery.
  15. I sought out the TTB podcast because I was curious to see where the criticism of M2e was at now that it had been out a couple of months. Sadly, it's still in a holding pattern around "dumbing down the game". Not only that, but one of the hosts spends much of the podcast lamenting the loss of his "chess game", while continually providing examples of why 1.5 wasn't chess in the slightest, but Rock Paper Scissors instead.
  16. A full game of Netrunner is really once as a Runner, once as a Corp, so most people have both on them. However, most people have a preference for one or the other, and will play that more when it's not an official game. I usually play Runner vs. Tuesday, for example, because she likes Haas-Bioroid's dumb robots.
  17. It's likely they wont. The game is tuned and balanced around 2 players, and I don't see them trying to change that. Honestly, the lack of multiplayer doesn't bother me. CCGs have always been a two player affair to me, with multiplayer versions being more like fun distractions rather than the actual game.
  18. The two player limit is certainly the game's biggest failing. If you want a good multiplayer LCG, I hear A Game of Throne's is one of the best ever.
  19. Had a great game the other day. I was running with Chaos Theory against HB: Stronger Together. My opponent managed to score an early Mandatory Upgrades while I was recovering from two bad opening draws, and proceeded to speed through a couple of agendas. I retaliated by making some risky runs and managing to eliminate his Adonis Campaigns. His ensuing poverty allowed me to run and score while he searched for an agenda he could use to finish the game, while trashing my Femme Fatale every chance he got to slow me down. On the last turn, with Femme trashed by an Aggressive Secretary, I managed to test run her back into play, naming a Heimdall assigned to R&D as her target. Ran on R&D, got the last agenda I needed to win. One turn before my opponent had planned to use Bioroid helpers to ensure his win.
