If you go back and read mimic 1 more time you will notice it says "... Effects that reference a model by name cannot be mimicked." So since the Voodoo Doll is a specific model you cannot mimic the talent to summon it.

I think you need to understand the Rule marshals are here to jump in on topics noone quite understands, that is to say, if 7 or 8 different people give you the same answer it's safe to say that answer is correct unless a RM jumps in and goes "WHOA WHOA WHOA No. just no." They are very busy doing other things they can not be on this board reanswering questions constantly

I'm sorry you feel the need to use sarcasm, but we have seen your argument, and responded quoting rules, and you have just thrown them out the window, insisting the wording on the aVikis is the exact same as on the Coryphees I understand you find the ability to activate the aVikis with all their AP the same turn they manifest to be "OP" but that is not a question of the rules, rules cannot be personal, they have to have 1 absolute definitive answer and that is what we on this forum aim to make sure happens If we have somehow offended you I, and I'm sure everyone else, am sorry to have done so, but we only aim to get the rule absolute.

Shadai I don't think you quite understand what the vik's avatar is worded, It says "replace one Viktoria with Viktoria, avatar of slaughter. Remove the other Viktoria from the game." while Coryphees dance together says "Sacrifice this model and one other friendly coryphee within 2". replace this model with one coryphee duet before it is removed from play." Now the very distinct thing about the wording on the Avatar is that you may chose to replace the model that has not yet activated (the viki that did not use the (all) action), and in doing so that model will, when it activates, have its 2 general AP as well as its (+2) melee master AP because that model was replaced through the action of another model on the other side since the coryphee that used dance together had to use 1 of its (0) actions to dance together it will only have 2 of its 3 (0) actions it would have had if it started its turn as the Duet.

so everyone read pg. 33 specific action points, as I read it says you gain 1 additonal ap to use for that action (i.e +1 ap that can be used to discard a body part to gain fast) if it said +2 passion for his work he would be able to do it twice

We have been asking for one for a while now, I do believe they're in the process right now though, so just hang in there, they're busy but on it!

I must say Marcus is my favorite master in the whole game, but I do seem to have more trouble playing him over my other Masters, he just has this extra hidden level of finesse that I haven't quite mastered yet. but 3 of my Biggest recommendations for you are: 1) I don't use The rattler and Cerberus in the same list, they both are a bit too high cost for what they do but its not an issue to use one of the other 2) try out a Shikome, since it is a beast you can hire it, and it's soooooo good at taking down key models. While it can only target one model until that model is removed from the board it gets a huuuge bonus against that model so its always good for taking out kep models, just be sure to remember you need to not over extend it, other wise it will die 3) back to 1 with the Silurids and Night terrors, both are such good models and I love them to death, but every time I've ran night terrors and silurids in the same list one has done spectacular while the other group did absolutely nothing and I wished I would have brought something to replace them. other than that, some really cool models to take are Kaeris or VonSchill because they are such beasts in the game

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that error, he should cost 7SS for the out of faction cost (it's correct when Karis is leading the crew but messes up as soon as she's not the leader)

Well the thing is it says Target construct within 4" makes a strike, it states that that model is making the strike not Hoffman though it is his action it is not his strike, so if it kills the model then it has been killed by the construct not Hoffman; Hoffman basically pointed at the poor bat and said "kill that."

Dont try to apply too much logic to a rule, if you were to do that there would be no magic in the game at all. (I dare you to logically explain a portal that leads to another world where teddy bears eat people and there are half angels running around killing all the humans while people are raising the dead)

I totally agree, anything that needs objective grabbing usually leads to me including 2-4 night terrors they are soo good, and as a result of Marcus I even bring them in my Mcmourning Crew from time to time (see he really does earn a lot from his teacher)

I would actually suggest swapping a performer for Angelica, she's such a good model.

I have never had a bad game with Marcus (that is I have won some and lost some) but every game has been interesting and never one sided, and because of that the games are so much more dynamic and fun, I have yet to play him in a tournament, but I do plan to fix that very soon With all the options he has to make his crews and the fact he's a mixture of speed and attack power means he can fill a lot of rolls every turn ---------- Post added at 08:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:15 PM ---------- Though... So I was playing a game to day where my opponent threw out a shafted marker, and my Hanged walked onto it and triggered it, then we had to figure out if it was magical or not, we said it was so he took the 3 damage. Did we do that correctly? Because technically the counter is doing the wounds not the spell buuuuuut yeah >.>

While buried, a model is out of play (remains removed from the table), but is still in the game. Effects on a buried model resolve as indicated in their descriptions. so based on the RAW they each would take 3 wds in the resolve effects step if both or just one was buried however RAW if you had 2 of each and had a lelu and lilitu buried and the second pair not buried then none of them would take any wounds. I cant help but feel this was a wording error they over looked because I can assume they meant for if one of them is removed from the game as apposed removed from play but it is better to play RAW unless rulled otherwise

The most Major thing they need to do is make her not so annoying to play against, at my FLGS we have 2 players that own Pandora, and noone (including myself) wants to play agaisnt their pandoras, its just not enjoyable. there's a distinct difference between a challenge and brain hemorrhage.

I would like to point out... this is the rule discussion forum for clarifications, should this thread not be in the general discussion??
