  1. I linked to the website in the post above (but here it is again, http://www.wetcoastgt.com). As if the deal needed sweetening, all participants will be receiving a Breaching the Faux custom fate deck (its a beauty, some pics here: http://breachingthefaux.com/gallery/breaching-faux-2015-custom-fate-deck
  2. Greetings! There's a good group of players living in and around Vancouver, BC. If any of you are up for a bit of travel, I'm hosting a Malifaux tournament at the Wet Coast GT taking place July 4-5.
  3. Just a heads up, the Mobile version of the site doesn't have the RSS link. I've been really enjoying the stories!
  4. Excellent, fresh meat.... I mean hi! Looking forward to meeting you, I'm at Chop and Magic Stronghold game days as often as I can, which is not as often as I'd like but it is what it is.
  5. It was great hanging out with you and to have you stay with us. My kids have been asking "When's Chris coming back?"!
  6. Personally I make it a point to stop by Guardian Games when I'm in town, home of Beerlifaux put on by Josh of the Through the Breach podcast.
  7. In case there aren't any Portlanders following your thread, you should try http://www.ordofanaticus.com/ or Malifaux PDX Facebook group. See you there Thursday/Friday!
  8. Still overtired from a weekend of Malifaux goodness at Wet Coast?
  9. He has interrupted his movement for you to make your disengaging strike, I'd think you would resolve the effects of that strike before he continues his movement (so you'd push, then he'd move).
  10. Can't attend alas, but I am interested in purchasing one or more of these fate decks if that is possible.
  11. Any word on Through the Breach events at Gencon?
  12. There's some good features here! Couple issues is I can't see a way to load a saved crew from the Crew Builder screen, I have to go to the Encounter screen and select Crew1 or 2 from a drop down. The ability to save more than 2 crews would be nice, while being able to load any saved crew into the Crew 1 and Crew 2 slots of a particular encounter. I can't seem to save a crew as Crew 2; the crew I saved to Crew 1 keeps coming up whether I select Crew 1 or Crew 2. Encounter section is great, love the ability to tally up the score as you go. it'd be nice to be able to toggle each scheme as "Selected" or "Hidden/Revealed" for each player.
  13. Come down to the Wet Coast GT and play some Malifaux! We've got 3 events over the course of the weekend, plus open gaming on Friday night! If you have purchased your tickets by Friday June 13, you will be entered in a draw for a gorgeous Walpurgis 2014 Fate Deck courtesy of the Faux Show, so don't wait! 14. Sorry for the blurry photos... couldn't get screenshots working on my phone so I just took pictures with a webcam. Here's a few suggestions/requests for better usability. Sorry if any of this has been covered already. A lot of these are "in my opinion" of course. 1- Add more navigation options. Replace "Back" with a menu icon such as Add "Previous" and "Next" buttons to navigate directly from page to page, for example from Crew Creator to Strats & Schemes without going back to the main menu. Making it possible to swipe the screen left or right would also be a great touch! 2- This is a lot of screen real estate for the page heading. 3- These two menus are used the most of all of them while building a crew. Having them at the bottom is okay in the computer version as they generally don't disappear from view, but after adding a couple of models these constantly disappear and you end up having to scroll down after adding each model. I think moving the menus to the top would be ideal, or as an alternative have the program auto-scroll down after adding a model to the list so that these menus don't disappear from view. Another pet-peeve of mine is that models are always added to the list in alphabetical order; sometimes I like to organize my crew list in different ways, such as most expensive to least. Personally I'd rather the new model just gets added to the end of the list, and make it possible to reorder the list after the fact. 1- As I suggested in the last post, these icons could be moved next to the appropriate header to save on screen real estate. 2- We generally don't need to see the deployment map after setup, so it should have a heading with a "+/-" button to show/hide it like the strategy and schemes. If the top bar is designated as a navigation bar as I suggested then the Generate button would need to move, perhaps next to the Strategy and Schemes heading (which is again a bit large I think). It might be a good idea to have a confirmation request after clicking Generate in case you've clicked it by accident ("Are you sure you want to generate new S&S? Y/N"). Also, it should be possible to select the deployment/strat/schemes as its quite possible both players would want to use this app on their own device and have that information at their fingertips but without that ability only one player can use the app for strategy and schemes.
  15. Rather than having all flips in a row, I'd prefer to see the flips next to the heading they are drawn for. E.g. the headings would appear as: Deployment - [ ] ---text--- Strategy - [ ] ---text--- Schemes - [6 4 ] ---text---
  16. Yet another shameless plug: http://fauxshow.ca
  17. Event: Demo Day! Date: Saturday, March 22 Time: 12-4p City: Vancouver, BC Location: Strategies Games, 3878 Main St If you're interested in a demo, please stop by! I will have a number of crews available to try out.
  18. I'd agree with the Seamus box as a good first add, and I'd add that McMourning's box is probably a close second. Playing Nicodem, I almost never leave home without at least one Rotten Belle (and 2 isn't uncommon, nevermind possibly summoning more) but the Flesh Construct and Nurse you get in McMournings box will see good use as well. I think there's other resurrectionist models I'd pick up before going into Yan Lo's box set, just depends on your budget really.
  19. I don't see any Levi or Pandora players in the list on the first page, so I'd pick one of those for you. Probably leaning toward Levi (new plastics? when are they out?)
  20. Similar question for adding cheap minions... Can I add one death marshal to the crew for the cost of 1/3rd the death marshal box?
  21. I'll be joining in with Sonnia, and I'll see if I can wrangle my faux show co-hosts into joining in the fun. Either way our blogs can be found at fauxshow.ca
  22. I tried to message you and got the error "Oops! Something went wrong! [#10274] You already have the maximum number of messages that you are allowed to store. In order to send a new message, you must delete some existing messages."
