I actually ruled out C. Hoffman because Collodi and Colette already deal with Constructs and I don't want to beat that particular dead horse. I'd like to branch out to something different. But good thought on the tie-in with my other crews. Another aspect that my other crews have in common is a higher than normal learning curve to succeed with them. As I know little of Lucius or Lucas' playstyles, I really don't know which will provide the more rewarding victory by virtue of requiring more finesse to pull that victory off.

I have long had the goal to have one master for each faction. Right now I have Arcanists (Colette), Resurrectionists (Kirai) and Neverborn (Collodi) covered. That leaves me in search of a Guild master to collect. To be honest, Guild is my least favorite faction. I'm not overly enthused about the all-ranged approach they seem to have, but two masters have caught my eye: Lucas and Lucius. And right now it's a dead heat between them. The one advantage that Lucas has over Lucius (also helping satisfy my need for a Ten Thunders master) is tempered by Lucius' advantage over him (one REALLY cool sculpt that I'd love to paint). Given my predilections of playstyle in my current masters, which do you think I would enjoy playing with the most?

I find it amusing that you're at the same point I used to be. I went with Colette first, Kirai second and have no third at the moment. lol If you're a new player, I would go with the cheaper investment to see if you like the game, and as has already been mentioned, the cheaper choice is Colette.

As much as it gets bagged on, the ending to Blair Witch Project was sweet. The effect of hearing the girl's plaintive cries out to her friend from the camera in the room she's running toward get slowly louder the closer she gets was eerie, and the visual of him in the corner sent a chill up my spine. Subtly set up, great impact when it's revealed and, really, the only truly horrifying moment in the movie... at the very end. I, too, also loved the ending of Usual Suspects and Inception.

For my Coryphees, I magnetized the bottom of the squatting Coryphee, attached the standing Coryphee to a barrel to give the impression she was balancing upon it and attached a magnet to that. All bases--singular and combined--have magnets to match.

I'm not a hardcore collector and want to dabble in each faction as opposed to collecting everything for one. Since most tournaments encourage players to bring all of one faction and name that faction at the start of the game, I wondered about mixing it up in a different way. I currently play Colette. In order to allow for different options against various opposing factions, I wanted to know what ancillary characters I should look into getting to boost my selection so I have at least a little flexibility should I ever enter a tournament. If you were to bring Colette and only Colette as your master to a tourney, what non-Showgirl models would you bring along to face which potential opposing factions?

Thank you very much. My girlfriend had asked me several weeks ago what else besides the crew box I would like. I did mention two blisters of Seishin, but she talked herself out of it not believing I would want that many duplicates. lol I'll pick those up on my own, as well as a few other supplemental models to round the crew out (another Ikiryo, Lost Love when it comes out).

My girlfriend ordered me the Spirits of Vengeance box set, a blister of Seishin and a blister of Gaki. Looking forward to getting them in a week or two.

I wonder if it's going to come to the point where tourneys have to supply the decks to participants in order to assure fair play. I hope not, but this kind of story makes me think it could happen.

I'd like to see another named Showgirl figure. We have Colette and Cassandra. How about a Christin(e/a), Carolyn or Camille? Someone who wows the crowds with fantastic feats of archery? :santa:
