  1. Table Top Games Malifaux Challenge League When: Starts Tuesday July 21, 2015 Ends Tuesday September 1st, 2015 Where: Table Top Games 46 North Main Street Fall River, MA 02720 (508) 567-1672 Rules: All players will be ranked by the League Organizer. His decision is final. There is space for 15, ranked according to the tier the player is on. Each tier has one more player added to it as compared to the tier above it. The first tier will have one player, the second will have two, the third three, and so on up to tier five. Each player may make one challenge per week. Players may challenge one tier above their own. This means the highest ranked player will not be able to challenge anyone (as there is o one above him). It also means that as you get higher in the standings you will have to play more, since you will have to defend your spot, sometimes against multiple opponents. You are only required to play against one player at a time, though you could play multiplayer games if everyone agrees (more on that later). Each week the LO will provide a strategy that week. All games played that week will use that strategy. In games that require attacker/defender the higher ranked player is always the defender. Multiplayer scenarios will be declared on a case by case basis. In any game where the LO is involved the decision shall be made by the highest ranked player not involved in the game. Challenges should be recorded in the league notebook with date and time of challenge. In the case of two players challenging one (eg, both tier two players challenging the tier one player), and a multiplayer game is not desired, preference will be given to the player who recorded their challenge first. If one player beats another before he/she has answered another challenge then the newly crowned victor shall answer that challenge. If the tier one player is defeated he/she is immediately awarded a challenge to issue, unless he/she has already issued one that week. The league shall be decided by number of victories while occupying the top spot. Cost: $15

  10. Hello All, Once again I will be attending KublaCon and this year I'm playing Malifaux! Here are the rules: The Great Malifaux Pig Hunt "Some crazy gremlin herded his pigs into the orchard where them magic apples are growed. Damn pigs went and ate up all them magic apples. Afore you know it everybody in Malifaux showed up and tried to catch them pigs. It was said that if ate one you the power of the apple in ya. We aimed to find out..." This a four person scenario. It uses corner deployment. Each player flips for deployment as normal. Crews may only contain the following up to 26 points: 1 Master 0-3 Henchmen 0-3 Enforcers You may recruit up to four models, including your master. You may take upgrades. At the start of the game six pig tokens are placed with 6" of the center of the table. Each table edge should be assigned a suit. The pigs are moved by the GM during the Upkeep step. One pig moves on to the table at the end of every turn. The person who won initiative flips a card. The pig moves on from the edge indicated by the suit of the card, a number of inches indicated by the value of the card. Models can capture a pig by taking (2) Interact while in melee range. All models gain the following Tactical Action: (1) EAT THE PIG: A model can discard a pig token it currently carries for a [+] to attack and damage flips. This action may only be taken once per turn (per model). If a model with pig tokens is killed the tokens are placed in base contact with the model prior to removing it from the table. The game lasts five turns. At the end of the game the player with the most pig tokens wins. I will be updating this post when I have the times I will be running this.
