  1. So I am curious if there is a standard of information that a viewer of a Malifaux Video Battle Report would want to see in an overlay? Master/Henchmen Name? Strats and Schemes? Soulstones Avaliable?
  2. So I am putting together my Arcanist models to take with me to TempleCon for my first ever Gaining Grounds play (Rasputina and Marcus are my only crews at this point). Well ok lets be frank. My first ever gaming above and beyond the basement gaming with one friend in his house. Never the less, I know i need to take my models and rulebook and cards and a dry erase for dmg marking, Got that. What else do I need? How many scheme tokens will I need in an average game. Do I need to have status effect tokens? Anything else i might need other then tokens?
  3. On a slightly similar vein. Is there a style of thematic base that would help bind all the arcanist models together? I was thinking maybe grated and piped bases for the steam union theme, with the Ice theme just having some frosted over pipes and what, but then I look at Marcus and I am like ehhhh.
  4. On the vein of Rasputina's Ice Pillars. Are these models destroy able? Apparently they were in the prior addition but I can't find any reference if they are or are not in 2E (new to the game).
  5. Very cool. Hope you are planning to make more
  6. But then why the three cards? Is it normal for Malifaux boxes to come with extra cards you will never need? I mean I could understand miss pack if it was three of the exact same card. Then I would be like Oh they must have got stuck together some how, but these are three different pictures on three different cards. Wyrd clearly made them this way.
  7. So after getting my Children of December box set and putting it together and playing a couple games I decided to make my next purchase. Seeing a box for Hoarcat Pride I grabbed it as my next thing. I get home and open the box and was immediately confused. There were three cats in the box on a single sprue, but three 40mm bases. These things look small even on a 30mm base why would they have a 40mm. So I run to the interwebs to see if I can figure it out and I see the old model had all three cats on a single base. Ok that makes sense, but then why three bases. An to add to the confusion I see three different stat cards for the model with a picture per card for each of the cat variants. Very much like I got the Ice Gamin. One model per base per card. So what gives. For a brand new to the game player this is SUPER confusing. An I can't seem to find any offical statement from Wyrd on if things changed in 2E and they used to be on 40mm but now are on 30mm? Was the box mis-packet and should have had three sprues and not one? Is it a group of three on one base? 1 per base and it's just a large base? If the later is it in the rules that I can use a smaller base to represent the model (most games I have played in the past say you can't change base size but these things look pretty ridiculous on 40mm at the size these cats are.
  8. I think if your looking for a way to bind them to one army and thematically they don't fit your best option is color palette to make them fit together.
  9. After getting the Children of December crew box and looking to have my second game of Malifaux (first being the demo) here soon, just wanted to say thanks for everyone who have contributed tips on playing Rasputina. It's really helped me get a grasp of some of the tricks she has up her sleeve.
