  1. The Malifaux Child is a great proxy model, but compared to the rest of your mini's he looks a bit plain (probably more the sculpt than your paintjob-the paint looks great). If it were me i might add a bit more detail to his base to bring the model to life a little more. Otherwise this stuff is spot on, mate. I love the corpse counters, and am really eager to see the corpse cart one finished. Good Job bro!
  2. @Blakeh1: Welcome! I was introduced to Malifaux by my two Warhammer 40k buddies, but have yet to play because the three of us are all preoccupied with full time jobs, kids, and school (im the student-Drexel U.). I spend alot of time here on the boards and have read the rules cover to cover too many times to count; i just really want to get an actual game in. Shoot me a PM-id love to see about setting up a friendly game on the weekend sometime.
  3. Good Mini, Good English, and Good to see Malifaux getting play over in Germany. I am colorblind so i cannot comment on color choices, but i do agree that the basing is exceptional. Cant wait to see more.
  4. I say the following with the utmost adoration and respect for your impeccable efforts: That thing is bloody disgusting man!:congrats:
  5. Man, every time i look at the Mcmourning model i see something i didnt notice before. So good!
  6. nice detective work, Brian. Thanks for the heads up!
  7. Both the necropunks and mcmourning are probably the best ive seen of either. Well played. If i may inquire-what size base is mcmourning on?
  8. good stuff ork. Where did the zombies and the canine remains models come from? Also, how do they compare to the Wyrd minis in terms of scale (alot of the cool zombie minis i have found are slightly smaller than wyrd stuff).
  9. also off topic: Since the gremlinette is now retired when is the new special edition mini going to be unveiled?
  10. anyhow what is wrong with your cute little froggy? I like him.
  11. thanks for the link. That miniature line is nice.
  12. So i live in philadelphia, but i was in atlanta for the big snowstorm that hit the northeast right before christmas, so i missed it. At that time i really appreciated the little animated snow on the site. Well, now its new years eve and i am at home in philly and it snowed for real! On the day i expect a bunch of ressurectionists in the mail! In a nutshell, Happy New Year Wyrd and everyone here.
  13. I love the fishnet on the one nurse. Also, your blood splatter is really effective, particularly on the bases.
  14. Well done. I especially like the custom bases.
  15. Off topic: This thread has made me realize that many railroad hobby retailer's websites are horrendously designed. Both the walthers and whitewash links gave me ridiculous headaches.
  16. Glossary, pg.207: Malifaux (mal-uh-foh) 1. City found on the other side of the great breach 2. Wicked fun character-driven skirmish game
  17. WorldWorks Games also has some really high quality downloadable cardstock terrain. The detail on these is really superb. For shanties i would look at the Swampwoods Village and Villageworks sets.
