Hi Wes, I do not know if you are still available what with the new baby and all (Congrats!), but we are having another Malifaux tournament this year at the Fantasy Gamer's Conclave. Let me know if you are interested.

Does Lucius actually come with the battlefoam bag? I haven't seen any official word that that promo is actually running. So far its just been a lot of rumors. Did anyone actually get one?

I am really upset it took so long to develop such a poor looking product. I was excited for this bag and was really let down. The bag needs to hold more puppets! And it needs to hold all 4 puppet decks I purchased so I can play with friends! I m not a fan of Battlefom...they do not honor their lifetime guarentees. I have a Malifaux bag that has a tear in a seam by the handle and they will not fix it. I have been holding off for a Battlefoan toy box but I guess its time to make my own

I have been running demos since Gencon. Everyone I have introduced to PW has really enjoyed it. I could not however talk anyone into picking up a starter set on the release date or get my LGS owner to stock the game. No one wants to invest $90 in a board game. Everyone I talked to is waiting to see individual puppets on ebay. The key deterrent is the pawns sets. They have all voiced negative opinions about not being able to purchase only the puppets they want. I have tried explaining that ALL puppets are useful and tried to demonstrate the synergy of playing different factions together but I can't seem to sell anyone on it. Everyone is content playing with my puppets and not getting their own. I continue to run demos and build interest in my area. It is slow going but I love the game and want to see it succeed.

How have you been? Are you planning any Halloween events out your way? We are trying to get a tournament going at Gamers Haven but turn out numbers are looking low. Maybe we can combine forces to get a really good size event somewhere.

I really want to see what kind on insanity Somer Theeth Jones can bring to Puppet Wars along with a lot more gremlins. I also can't wait for construct puppets. I'd like to see a Ramos/Hoffman box with a bunch of construct puppets!

I think it needs to hold closer to 100 puppets. If it only holds 50 it will barely hold the initial starter box with the pawns sets. They need to learn from the mistake they made with the Malifaux bag. It needs to be large enough for future sets or it wont be worth picking up. I'm stuck with a Malifaux bag that holds less than half of my crews AND it is torn and BattleFoam wont do anything to repair it.... even though they advertise lifetime guarantees. The Toybow will have to be pretty impressive for me to consider picking one up.
