I had these guys painted up last week, but I wanted to rip them off the regular bases I had and use the new ones I just received from Dragon Forge in a previous post. So here they are, better pics, better bases, sealed and ready for gaming tonight. As I mentioned in the previous post, these are a quick and dirty paint scheme intended to get them on the game table. So here are the new pics and the new bases.

I am very confident in my terrain making, my biggest problem is not being able to best visualize what Malifaux would look like. Steamvictoriohorrorwestpunk is not coming together in my head as easily as one might think.

I love Nino, Santiago is great, and of course Perdita is oh so dreamy... <3 However Papa Loco is my auto-include with Perdita at this point. He is so deadly that your opponents are forced to deal with him or be blown up by him. haha

Exactly... I have been advancing him under cover to make sure he hits the groups largely unscathed. The best part too is that if they start focusing on him, that leaves the rest of my army to go after their priority targets. Now I admit we are all new, so this is going to change some, but right off the bat I am really liking the tools he brings to the table. Especially the psychology of him.

Now, let me first preference this a bit... our group has only played a handful of games at best. Most of us have played less than a dozen games, while I have played 3 real games and a couple demos myself. However... in those three games, my unabashed All-Star has been Papa Loco beyond the shadow of a doubt. Has he survived any of the games? Hell no.. Has he taken out 2-3 x his SS cost in enemy models? At least... every time! I have heard a lot of people talking about removing PL for other options in a Perdita led crew recently so I was a little hesitant about him at first. However now after using him a bit on the actual table, he is quickly becoming an "auto-include" in any Perdita crew, and a pretty damn good option in any Guild crew.

I've played a few games now with Perdita at 25SS... and it finally came together last night. The biggest threat for me so far has been using Papa Loco as a self destructive land mine. I have been running him up a flank, and once the battle gets hot a heavy somewhere, take him and chuck TNT for a turn before his next activation where he goes kamikaze. The key is to make sure you have a 12-13 in your hand to cheat fate on his CA flip so you get a better shot at taking out models in that 6" Pulse explosion!

I have a decent sized USA Tank Company for Flames of War that I am interested in moving. I also have a ton of the Iron Kingdoms RPG Figs from Privateer Press. Most are NIB, some assembled. Looking for any non-Guild Malifaux figs or fantasy/steam-punk terrain to be used for Malifaux. PM me!

I have some of the PDFs from back when a friend and I were playing Legends of the Old West, think wild west themed Mordheim, and the buildings were a bit small for 28-30mm figs. You can scale them up a bit as Kel mentioned and they would work nicely I think. However, "out of the box", they are going to be a bit small.

flaming cards, fireball, pistol... I like all the ideas. Just hate the cigarette! I was a lobbyist against "Big Tobacco" for several years so just trying to think of something I can add in there instead.

Looking at the mini in hand... I can't tell if it is a small derringer style pistol, or a cigarette... haha From the paintjobs in the book and the studio job in the store, it looks like a smoke. However looking at it in hand it really looks like a small pistol. >.>

I love the sewer drains in there, as well as the steps. How did you make the sewer perfectly round and the lines so straight?
