My group is starting to play M2E again, and having some refresher games before starting a Shifting Loyalties campaign. I have been struggling, however, with making / using an effective Henchman for smaller games. I have been trying to use Candy, but cannot seem to get a sense of how to use her as a proper Henchman, and am looking for ideas. I have also toyed with the idea of using a Widow Weaver. Perhaps this is a better route? All in all, I am looking to eventually build a Wp based crew with purchasing Pandora for the Arsenal. Any help would be appreciated.

<SPOLIER ALERT for Storm of Shadows> As I am working my way thru the Malifaux books, I just finished the short stories at the end of Storm of Shadows. I was a bit perplexed as to the ending of the Venn / Collodi storyline. The animated man (Venn) was disabled by Grizzly Dick and then suddenly, we see the wagon pulling away re-labeled as Collodi's. My interpretation was either (1) Collodi = Venn , who "came back" and re-labeled himself as Collodi. I feel this is less likely as the story would've had to taken place during Old Malifux times, since Collodi already existed at that point per his background story in the background. Or (2) someone in the village took over the wagon and re-labeled themselves as Collodi. Either way, my 2 interpretations re-con the background of Collodi, so someone part the clouds and explain this probably-easier-than-I-am-interpretting storyline. Thanks!

So I love the Halloween themed story encounters, but am unclear what Restricted Schemes means. Does it mean: 1. You CAN take ONLY those schemes (that is, you are restricted TO taking those schemes) or 2. You CANNOT take those schemes (that is, you are restricted FROM taking those schemes) Sorry, my anal retentiveness with the Englsih language gets the better of me sometimes.

A quick question (or maybe 2): 1. Do the boxsets for the crew come with the base inserts, or do those need to be purchased separately? 2. Do the individual models (for master or minions) come with the base inserts, or do those need to be purchased separately? Thanks, Josh

Sounsd like fun, actually. This next Tuesday coming I already have plans for the evening (unless they cancel or finish early), but I may try & make a late appearance in one of the following weeks. It's hard for me to come straight from work, only because I gotta get the kid fed, and then "hand-off" to my wife, so it's usually closer to/after bed-time (7:30-8pm). What was the turn-around time for people from the time you ordered to the time it arrived? (Any ideas re: geography would help give me sense of how long I have to hold my breath).

Hey buddy! How are things? I'll shoot you a PM, but saw this game at Gen Con in Indy, and just fell in love with the minis and loved the diceless system. Couldn't resist buying the rulebook. Wish I would've bought in at Gen Con and saved the pain of waiting until it arrives, but delayed gratifiaction only makes me stronger!

I just ordered my rulebook and hope to get a crew soon, once I take a look-see thru the stuff & pick one. After 8pm is always good for me, so maybe I'll try and shoot you a PM when I get everything needed to play! I'll try and come by for the occassional Saturday, too, if I can get some free time on a weekend.
