So far I'm voting Guild for my favourite, I currently have the Death Marshals and the Witch Hunters, and intend to get the Ortegas. Though I must confess I'm gonna end up getting Ramos as well, cause I love the steam constructs.

Hmmm that does sound cool so it does. I'm quite intrigued to see what the guilds totems are, along with Ramos as those are the guys I want to play. Can Ramos have a mechanical owl? Please?

Hmmm I might pick him up cause I do like the sculpt so I do, and was thinking of getting him. Still if he gets resculpted and I like it, it won't be the first time I've bought a resculpt while still owning the original. And DB, really man, what are you talking about. I think it's time for you to stop licking the paint brushes.

Also went Viktoria, would be cool to see her done, though maybe Pandora if you do the Avatar form, which is so much cooler than the other one.

Muahaha yes it was indeed myself that picked up the witch hunter box set. You don't need it, you've got a million things already. And thanks for the further comments. I'll finish off the last Death Marshal as stated once I secure an arm for him. Otherwise I may move onto my Witch Hunters, though I'm not entirely sure what to do with them colour wise.

Thanks for all the comments on the figures. I've retaken the photos and they're slightly better but still far from brilliant. I don't have an area for photos so they're being done on the fly really and I don't know a great amount about photography. And DangerousBeans, I think you're the one that'll be crushed mercilessly by the guild. Grimwolf, I know what you mean. Initially I was going to go for just the Death Marshals, then I decided I quite like the Ortegas and Ramos as well, and then when I was in the FLGS the Witch Hunter box set jumped into my hands as well.

Well been continuing the work on my crew so though I'd stick them up for comments and criticism. I apologise for the shoddy photos, really must learn how to take a better photo. Anyway I give you my Lady Justice, The Judge and of course the obligatory group shot. While I would finish the last Death Marshal I seem to not have his arm. I'm not sure if it's gone missing or what, but I'll need to procure one from somewhere I think.

I'm liking them, and the blue one is in my opinion the favourite. Your Seamus is also particularly good, I think as others said in your other thread the white is really well done, but it's just a general nice colour combination without being too garish.

Ah interesting to hear that you can hire from others within your faction, may help me since I think I'm planning on picking up all the guild so I am. As for the Outcasts, I know you can hire them for your faction, but are they going to be a faction unto themselves as well?

It's a good idea as some games don't define it and I've seen it go wrong with others. I believe I've heard stories of people converting Eldar Wraithlords so they were lieing down to take advantage of the line of sight rules.

To tell the truth I don't know. From the looks of things they just manifest whatever people fear and once humans from Earth came through they found what they feared and manifested as such. Presumably if the previous inhabitants had feared garden gnomes they would've manifested as such. As to the Rosetta stone presumably it's just like the real life Rosetta stone, in that's something that has been able to be translated, thus allowing the translation of further segments of language.

Looking quite nifty. And yeah she does have a load of hair, I'm discovering this as I'm at that stage of painting my Lady Justice.

Scenarios I can imagine can be things like from the e-zine, with someone robbing a train of soulstones and the appropriate guild faction stopping them. Or other things like someone mentioned the resurrectionists, have them start in a graveyard, and see how many things they can raise before the Death Marshals hunt them down. Even have someone managed to snag one of the powerful artifacts, the kind that always seems to attract the attention of the Neverborn. Another idea would again be something like in the e-zine, two parties hunting something (like Killjoy in the e-zine) and fighting each other. Do they go against each other and make themselves too weak to take out what they came for, or do they avoid the other person and try and go straight for the objective.

Good to be of assistance. Frankly yeah I thought as people say they are mostly in brown dusters, but thought no they need to have black dusters to make them look bad mother hubbards. Though you know you want to paint Hugs and Cuddles Marshals, just think of all the highlighting with nice pink dusters.

Hurrah, always good to know we get something better than the soulstone mines. We won't stand for it I say. And I'll join the M&SU when my FLGS gets the Ramos boxset back in. Right now I'm guild man until that happens. The witch hunters boxset jumped into my hand today, and before I knew it I was handing over money.

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah I wanted to do them in dark colours to make them look menacing etc as has been mentioned. I figured these are the Death Marshals, not the Hugs and Cuddles Marshals. And yes the rest of the crew is being worked on, I think the Judge is off to the side in one of the photos. Shall get them up when they're done. @Peterdita: You talking about the back lighting for the photo? I think that was me trying to get the best shot. I don't know a great deal about photography, and had a lamp at the front and back to try and get some light on them. Admittedly it was just a quick job, I didn't really set it up properly.

It's alright mate, the illusion would be ruined when you bring them to the club and they get trounced. Only joking, they're looking pretty nifty. I'm sure the white I'm doing right now won't turn out half as good as that.

Gah you've stolen all my thunder DB. He's just frustrated cause me and another guy picked up the miniatures at Salute long before him. And no this Scottish invasion will be much better and much more productive, like when we gave people the telephone.
