Marcus always struck me as being a little native american-y. That sort of fits the western theme, too. I think in later expansions we might want to play up the steampunk and bacon themes.

Why are the Outcasts last? Nobody likes bacon?

Aw, I just got it in. Gimmie time to tweak 'em. I also picked up the still, naturally. I also heartily recommend the piles of junk.

They fit well. I picked up a few castings and I'm pretty happy with them. Lots to clean, but resin is always like that with some things. No bubbles to speak of, either. He also threw in a couple of extra small castings for free with my order. Small press 4 lyfe. Check out Zoraida and a silurid, waitin' by the outhouse: (ugh, the silurid came out all washed out -- he's tabletop quality, honest!)

Very nice. I almost wish she'd kept the 40mm. I'd have so much more space for her. Love the skin, I ended up doing something similar for the gremlins. She's so fun to paint. I made her yellow to correspond with the advanced stages of acute liver failure. She already had the swollen belly, so all I had to do was add the veins, and the gradual lightening of the jaundice further from the face.

I'm imagining folks cutting off fingers to gain an advantage in the middle of a battle. It might be a good way to intimidate, too.

I knew I was forgetting something! I've always liked the character of Baba Yaga quite a bit. She was a big part of my decision to get involved with Wyrd. Gremlins were up there too. I really like how the crow ability was implemented. It used to be way too complicated, and it's elegant as anything now. I really think we have a good game going here. Oh, and to keep the pictures coming, I'm going to post a little WIP of my Zoraida. You'd better take lots of pictures of that gencon hut! I'm hoping for a terrain thralls update, too.

My appreciation for Zoraida is well known, and I was researching one of her influences, Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga has an amazingly rich background, with lots of fun little details that surround her. - Her well known chickenlegged hut is only just big enough to fit her, and has no windows or doors, only a keyhole made of teeth. - The chickenlegged hut is typically surrounded by a fence made of bone with skulls on each "post", save one-- that one's for you! - She rides a mortar and pestle, much like the sterotyical witch rides a broomstick. - Her favorite flower is a blue rose, favorite lunch: children. - Controls invisable servants, and is associated with mysterious color-coded riders (?) Also attached: fun baba pix. You guys should totally make a chicken-legged hut mini-- put it on a 50mm base, and it should be ready to go! It is supposed to be smallish.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I really love that system. Buying separate templates always seemed like a rip-off to me. It works darn well, too. I've been working (slowly) on making my own blast markers, but I can hardly resist the rest of Wyrd's stuff, so i might end up with some official inserts before too long.

Outcasts for my boys in the swamp, Neverborn second for my main lady ~Zoraida~. The other three factions are about equal in my eyes from there. FWIW, I am working towards a master from each faction, though. Teeth Jones-Zoraida-Marcus-Perdita-McMourning would be my respective favorites from each faction.

The same deal with Zoraida, too. The extra Voodoo Dolls are supposed to be decorations for the master. I went ahead and individually based one of mine though. They're so tiny, it was a fast job. When they come out with the individual doll, I'll get one then, too. The 'skeeter is nice. It has some pretty surprising tricks up its sleeve.

Riverboat pirates! Hmmm. I should make a scale riverboat, and have it being attacked by gremlins. That'd be pretty great.
