Bud of mine picked it up and is hooked. The pay to play is cheper then the norm to, it may just knock out WoW if I can get over to his place and check it out first hand.

Man that is a nice fig, base work is very nice fits the fig perfect. It may be my work computer, but the flesh tone looks "odd". Is this a Reaper fig?

A few things I can recomend: Dont use a reserve, the one thing that seems to turn off bidders is the chance of not winning the item they are bidding on. Start the bidding at what you comfortable letting it go for, use a flat rate for shipping AND handleing so if the shipping is a bit off then no one can complain about being gouged $1.50 more then what it cost to ship. Make sure to list any contests it placed in or won, and by all means toot your own horn in the description of oher contests you have place in or won to show the proof/means of quality.

It looks as if the scale will be along the lines of 1/72 from I can tell, but Im sure it will be smaller. You can buy about 20 1/72 infantry for around 8.00, and can find deals on armor. It may be closer to 1/444 or 6mm, that will still make the critter a couple of inchs tall. I am not a fanboy, really dont like either of the PP games. I am really looking forward to this one. Some good ol' chessy stomping. They may do the pirates deal, get a building in each pack with x number of monsters.

I have in the past kept 60 gallon tanks, for some reason I have bad luck with smaller tanks, everything dies. My favs are African Cichlids, although I tend to stick to the cheaper Oscars. Feeding those things is expensive once you get them on live food they turn thier nose up at pellets. Little swimming pigs.

The concept and figs look cool, and with the amount rabid fan base of PP im sure it will do good. The "other half" of thier target market may eventually move into WM/H. From alot of the tournies Ive seen and local games, painting is not a requirment, in many games. I do not like the ramdom/CCG style of the sale.

Alot of cases have been won by the company that shall not be named, just setting thier rabid law team loose on a company. At least one that I know of was sunk because of it.

I also would see bone other then skulls. I know fortress figures made skull packs that included a femur on the sprue, one is not enough!! Jawbone is another great idea. As long as the leaf litter came in natural colors and I didn't have to buy colors I wouldn't use, I would like to see it more to scale and shaped natural. Call me an old coot, but I dont view it a better deal if i'm forced to buy something I dont want or need, to get what I do.

I have wondered this myself with other figs they produce. Im not sure the I.P. laywers will accept calling the fig 'NOT( fill in the blank), and call it a day. I have picked up figs in there line just incase any of the big boys get thier panties in a bunch and bring the hammer down.

I have the Anti-pope as well its a really nice fig, I think the pic looks a bit out of focas or something. The grave golem isnt my cup of tea, I wish you could get the caretaker on his own. I'll get the zombies to add to the legion of the dead.

Another nice fig by Dragon blood. Not that im a skinny mini, this champ appears to have laid down his spear and taken up the fork! Think i'll pick this bugger up with a couple of his cohorts.

The last one really (two weeks ago) fell flat IMO, I was leaning towards dumping it off my watch list, guy at work said that it was a good one last night. I'll give it a couple of more chances I guess.
