    I am pretty happy with this. I think I have gotten my head around how to approach the theme better, sorry for getting my panties in a twist (promise it won't happen again). In my defense the new drugs are helping. The lightning was a bit of a mare and I am not 100% happy with final result, I have figured how I would do it next time though. My first go at OSL other than glowing eyes and I am pretty happy. I know not all of it makes sense, but overall I am pretty pleased.

    The tree is the stump from a bonzai I tried to keep alive but failed from about 18 years ago. It has sat in my bits box since, I just had to go at it with pair of clippers since it was cut off straight. The base is the top off a container that I filled with resin plaster and then built up with clay. The little monolith is heavy density foam.

    That's really cool. Love the natural tones. I have never tried 75mm before, I am curious how different it is to 30mm to paint.

    I am pretty happy with this, although posting it with about 5 seconds to spare at 2am my time wasn't exactly the plan. The reds haven't photographed super well and lokk a little flatter than they are (but only a little - I wasn't try for super high highlights).

    No I agree - I was one who used a lot of pink. I just meant as a small accent colour, maybe around the eyes or something. But it is still a very good submission.

    I like it, possibly a bit of pink in the skin tone would have helped. Overall very good though.

    God glad this is only round one. Not feeling it and having real issues with photos. Having said that painting was a bit rubbish to :)

    Any idea why Thor and Loki were in the mythology books at all (let alone shown as adults) when the movie basically starts with them as children and Odin explaining how Humans once thought of them as gods but dont any more?

    or you could wait a year and let suckers weed out the bugs until they become good. Personally I think Avatar looked great in 3D. Thought the actual movie was average (much as I expected). I wish inception had been 3D, I think the corridor scene would have kicked arse for the lord.
