  1. So I really like board games with cool minis. Two of the board games that I’ve spent the most time playing are Kingdom Death: Monster and Super Dungeon Explore! Both are great games with fantastic minis- although the tones each use could hardly be farther apart. The developers of these games know each other, and When both games went to Kickstarter, they took the opportunity to do a cool cross over. So means that we got a really cute chibi of the Twilight Knight. She makes a great mini, and I’d have been happy to leave it off there, but the fluff on her card implies that if those supe
  2. These are some trolls from Super Dungeon Explore (the Mistmourn Coast Warband). As with most of my own Super Dungeon set, I painted each one in its own color scheme. The yellow troll colors I chose because they match the trolls from Fantasy Forest. Fantasy Forest is an old TSR game I played when I was five- it is basically like Candy Land except that you get ambushed by orcs and kobolds along the way. The spawn point was just perfectly designed for an OSL effect, so I had to go that direction with it:
  3. The movie Armed and Dangerous was about a couple security guards in an armored car. I though to play off that with an Armored Mouse from last years Reapercon. I wanted to do a chapter theme so I went with Fire Whelps (Salamanders). The head on the shoulder was an impact model and I made his eye a targeter. The opposite shoulder was a dragon head sculpted. The cloak and tabard was sculpted as were the rope and medallions. Thanks for looking he was very fun.
  4. With Eye-gor and the gang. Just a fun little play on the movie Young Frankenstein, which takes weird science to a new level ;) The models are from Arcadia Quest beyond the grave expansion. Hope you like them ^.^
  5. Reaper Pharaoh chibi from their Halloween line. I normally keep them clean but I wanted it to match the tomb wall which was made with super sculpy them hand painted to a picture I found online of a real Egyptian tomb. Thanks for looking :)
  6. Mochizuki from soda pop miniatures ninja allstars. The tree, was half sculpted with super sculpy and then a branch with juniper strands. The cherry blossoms are tiny spiraled tissues then a light wash of pink was added to the center to spread naturally. Thanks for looking.
  7. Both Chibis and Ninjas originated in Japan, so combining the two seemed like a plan.
  8. So, here's my take on the giant vampire bat from Super Dungeon Explore. Part of me thinks I should have gone with bright green to match Dracula's "True Form" from Symphony of the Night, but for some reason I decided to go with a more subdued color pattern. Here he is.
  9. Here is the fine undead captain from Super Dungeon Explore. I rather enjoyed painting him- especially the trimming. He turned out just a bit darker than most of my SDE, but I feel that this is working well with the undead feel. I'll have to give someone pink hair to make up for it.
