  1. Looking better as it goes. I'll like to know more about that base as in how you went about making it, if it isn't too much trouble. Thanks.
  2. It looks wonderful. The details are clearer and the whole piece seems to jump out at you. Its a pity you didn't submit this instead or it would have caught the eyes of the crowd more.
  3. Everything looks good except for those eyebrows. They are definately too thick, at least for a lady.
  4. Coincidence? Whatever the case there can be only 1 true Iron Painter contest and its found HERE! The rest are just followers. :bowsucker
  5. Looking fantastic though the cloak can be smoother at the back. Would like to see how this guy looks when its finished.
  6. When things go totally wrong, it means you have just reach the turning point. From now onwards, things are gonna just get better.
  7. I have a suggestion for you which might add some depth to the freehand you did on the shield. Water down some grey, really thin it down and glaze over the shield from top to bottom, letting more paint accumulate at the bottom. This will create some depth. Just rememeber to go really thin and slowly build it up. Hope I offered more help than damage...
  8. @JOD- that looks like a photo of the devil beside the angel. :coolpics:
  9. Really cool effects. I feel the lights are coming out too yellow. Slightly more orangey would be better IMO.
  10. Oh Maestro you sneaky boy in a big girl's blouse! Want some hello kitty stickers?
  11. Cool stuff, might even use it on my next IP model!
  12. If not for your boy I'll think you're GAY based on that video  [hides hello kitty stickers] @Maestro-I like you flower printed shirt more then your minis
  13. That's me during a trip to Koh Samui, an island off Thailand. Ignor the hello kitty sticker and my wife's baggage on the rented bike :tongue2:
  14. C'mon baby, make this a true COMPETTITION!
  15. Good job girl. I like the black hair too. That's a real mini!

  17. Wow I think your hard work paid off as you have captured the mood of every model. Those eyes, makeup, the skintones... beautiful!
  18. Hey Braxandur, how do you get those bums looking so weathered? :smokin:
  19. looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing! :You_Rock_
  20. I'm only seeing baremetals & hearing small talks from you guys. Better step on that weathering process. Mine looked like this after 2 days in my backyard.
  21. Thanks for the kind words. The thing about the hand being a different colour I do have an explainantion for that. The illustration done by Rackham show's the arm a slightly different from the body, and I felt it looked nice. We are used to seeing matching skintones on the arms, face, legs etc. In actual fact our skintones do vary across our body.
  22. For those who might be interested to see the mini its here: http://en-forum.confrontation.fr/viewtopic.php?t=22397 There are bigger pics at the bottom
