  1. What it is is cute. I like it. Not enough to out of my way to get it however. But if I were able to throw him into an order or something I would probably pick it up. The barbarian is nicely detailed, but his posture and expression do make him feel very awkward.
  2. I thought it was rather strange that things went down the tube while you were away. Glad to see you back with every thing cleared up. It was a long day, I must have checked to see if it was fixed 10 times.
  3. Were pretty much in the upper 70s here. It's driving me crazy, I want some cool weather, and for it to stay more then 2 days. It's supposed to get down th the 40s/50s this weekend, I hope it stays that way for a while.
  4. This is just a beautiful piece. It just dances on that line that separates cartoony, and realistic with perfect skill. The sculpt's form and the way you have painted the eyes just scream cartoon, but the the fur is just so very realistic. I love it, and will be adding it to my favorite on CMON.
  5. Yeah it has been brought up over on the PP boards plenty. Just think of it as "A Boy Named Sue" thing.
  6. I've been looking forward to seeing this in mini since I first read his entry in Evolution. I really like the way he came ou. he is big and beefy with a nice pose and good detail. It certainly lives up to my expectations.
  7. You said it your self vampires are vain. They would wear big fancy armor and carry big ornate swords to project their importance and power. Being comfortable is very very low on the list of motivations of a vain being. Armor wearing weapon wielding vamps > frilly pajama clad vamps. All day long.
  8. Yikes, seahorses are no joke. They take dedication to keep those guys alive and well fed, but if you've got that that in you then good luck. I know I certainly don't.
  9. What kind of set up were you running? In the kind of saltwater setups I prefer that wouldn't really hurt all that much unless it was for a pretty extended period. Plus unless you had a complete and total catastrophic collapse, the tank would still have been well seeded with the right bacterias, and a second cycle would have been much quicker.
  10. Nice to see the gnomes getting some of there machines. Looks pretty cool, and fun to paint.
  11. I currently do not have a tank, and have been that way for a few years. I used to be a pretty hardcore fish head though, and I have run a lot of different tanks and types of tanks. I did a ton of reading on it too. I was, and still largely am I guess, pretty well versed in all things aquarium. I think I burnt myself out though, and just kinda of backed away from the hobby. I have been feeling a little of the old pull of late however. I still have some old set up stashed away. I kinda want to set up a community tank of small tanganyikan cichlids, but I'm not sure I want to get that back into it. Maybe I'll just get a beta to feed the need.
  12. Indeed. There are some people in this site, yourself included, who clearly have very different tastes in minis then me. I'm glad there are a variety to choose from. Even is others peoples tastes are inferior to my own.:tongue1:
  13. Fine I can talk on that too. I hate it. Sounds boring, and it holds zero interest for me. PP could have said that they were building an all metal traditional style game with this premise, and it would still be a big yawn from me.
  14. I really don't have the words to convey just how upset and frustrated this announcement has made me. PP is embracing everything that is wrong with mini gaming right now. Every scenario I can think of aboutwhat this means to PP as a company and how things will play out in the future unsettles me. This is no little niche side project, this is a major investment of capital and manpower, and paradigm shift in the way they do business. I'm feeling very unsettled right now.
  15. Gross! But I guess that's what you going for. He looks nice and certainly fits in with you precious Orgoreos stuff. You should have held him back and put him in the rotten harvest though.
  16. If Lucasfilm didn't bother with Heresy's Lord Va'durr, I doubt they will bother with these. Although if they really wanted to I'm sure they could. They might care more if there actually was a proper Star wars based miniatures game, not just the pre painted plastic one. And no the terrible small scale West end game from the 90s doesn't count. Basically what I'm saying is I really want some wicked cool star wars minis to paint.
  17. These are my favorite thing from Hasslefree in awhile. Seeing thme all finished now, they just ooze character. I'm looking forward to these.
  18. Wow! This looks amazing. I will certainly buy this when the english edition comes out. Do you know who might be carrying it?
  19. Yeah the paint jobs aren't doing these a huge favor, neither are some of the photos. I wish there were some better/multiple shots of the grave golem. The Spinespur style and feel don't hold a lot of appeal for me, but the anti pope is nice.
  20. Sigh, it is hard to wait. It is good to hear they will make it to these shores though.
  21. It is a very nice little scene, I wish you had some bigger pics though. It is hard to make out the detail.
  22. What do you mean by regular size? This guy is in 54mm scale, and $25 is not a bad price for a mini in that scale.
  23. Jedi Hasslefree children? Now that what I'm talkin about, consider them already bought.
  24. It's nice to see the archangels back, they were always my favorite Void sculpts. Also, i just noticed that there are a LOT of gas masks on these figs. Is there a reason for that in the story? It seems perhaps a bit overdone in the line.
