  1. I don't have much interest in the game itself, but do really love some of those minis! Great paint work, you've turned a collectible 'toy' game into something MUCH better.
  2. Hiya Melvin! Long time no see. How've you been?

  3. Great job on that black. That's spot on.
  4. Hey fellow Iowan! I've been around this site for many years, and it's cool to see some Iowans among us. I'm live in the Waterloo area.

  5. I tried to see if it had been deleted, but I guess that's beyond my MOD capabilities.... But, now I WANNA see the pic in question...could you PM me a link to it?
  6. I guess one could say it's done a bit Wyrdly....
  7. BUT...if Battlefoam does indeed get the patent, is Sabol still free to make their product as long as they don't use the 'novel' process? So, for instance if Battlfoams method states they heat the foam to 300 degrees, Sabol would be safe as long they use a different temprature. Same procedure, different method.
  8. Seems to be a very common theme amongst base makers. I'm still looking for a good 'modern' city scape set of bases, that haven't been destroyed in some sort of apocolypse. Just regular streets, sidewalk, pavement, gutters, steps, etc.
  9. I recently got into some 15mm minis....haven't painted them yet, but I like the price and the quality isn't bad either. Still, I don't think it will replace 28mm 'scale' in my heart.
  10. What is the deal with that avatar picture? Brushmistres has something similar...I'm officially creeped!

  11. The king of the bugs! Not sure when that next IP should come round....I'm thinking this fall for sure....I better start coming up with ideas! How've you been anyhow?

  12. What the heck is going on in that picture of yours!?!

  13. Yeah, I spotted Macgowan last week or so....we chatted via the PM system. I must not be who you think I am, as 'phenomenal painter' and supervike have never been uttered in the same sentance! I do paint though, but nothing special. I run lots of the painting contests here on the forum, so I guess painting is much more the focus for me rather than gaming. Although, I wouldn't be adverse to trying it out! Every gaming group needs that guy that gets his a$$ kicked constantly...That could be me!
  14. I'm from the Waterloo area.....never played a game of Malifaux in my life, but I have a crazy amount of Wyrd minis.... Cool to see this take off in my neck of the woods.
  15. Good to hear that you're still painting! I'll have to check out that Death Squad thing, sounds right up my alley. I do wish we were more like the old days here, but I understand the need for success too...

  16. I'm no sculptor by any stretch of the imagination...but the few things I've worked on, I do really like Procreate. It seem to give me enough work time and also didn't stick to everything like Greenstuff does. I like Milliput as well, as you can smooth it with water. One of the sculptors from another company I know would mix 1/2 greenstuff with 1/2 milliput. I've not tried that yet, but it seems to be the best of both worlds. I'm planning on giving it a go with Procreate and milliput...
  17. How's you? Haven't heard from you for quite some time. Hope all is well down there in wherever the hell you live land.

  18. Hey Al!! Where you been old man???

  19. Oh and congrats on the new baby! Best thing I've ever done was to have kids...

  20. Awesome! I've been a 'Core' customer from way back (when it was called Oak Leaf Comics, and was on University).. Does the Core carry Malifaux?

  21. Congrats on mopping up at the contest! Hope you post that diorama over on Cool Mini....

  22. Great job in the contest Yazza. Really loved your entry.
