Shadowopal
The web cart will be closing in less than a week. Better get your tickets while you can before the con. Points to be aware of: -You may buy tickets for the 1.5 story encounter and still choose M2e at the event registration table. -the cake match is officially sold out. But you may still come and play games throughout the day. -masters is six rounds over two days. PeregrineFalcon
Quick question on Team Tourney. It shows 4 rounds for Schemes and Deployment but only 3 rounds for Strategies. Is it a 4 round or 3 round team event? EDIT: Another question. For Team Tourney, since teammates aren't considered friendly or enemy for rules purposes. Do teammate models engage each others models? They're not friendly, so I would assume yes, but they're not enemy so I would assume no. Not sure which way it is. Thanks!
Shadowopal
Round 4 is Reconnoiter. Don't over think things. No benefits or negatives from teammate's models. You wouldn't attack your own models so you wouldn't attack your teammate's. Unless you want to give me specifics here, that's the best I can do. PeregrineFalcon
Well let's say Killjoy comes out when one of my crews models dies, but he is placed next to a 'teammates' model. Are they engaged? Killjoy has, "Blood Price: When this model Activates, if it is not engaged, its first Action must be a Charge Action if there is a legal target available. CHarges made i this way are (1) Actions." If they are engaged he doesn't have to take his (1) Charge to closest valid target. If they aren't engaged, it means he has to charge the closest valid target (which may be the teammate model he is standing next to already). Sorry if I'm asking weird questions, just want to make sure I don't go into the event with the wrong assumptions on how we interact with teammates. They aren't enemy but they aren't friendly, so its a brand new category. In the end I don't care, just want to play it right and fair. Lysis
This would also mean that being near your partner's models would prevent shooting actions, of course.
PeregrineFalcon
This would also mean that being near your partner's models would prevent shooting actions, of course. Yup, if engagement occurs with a teammate (same for charges in general). But since we're not friendly, its unclear if they are engaging us. I'm assuming we can also target teammates for heals and condition removals (as long as it doesn't say target friendly model)?
Droachmega
As Joe(rancor709) mentioned, I will be bringing two terraclips boards, and one forest board(currently being built)to help fill the tables. I am really looking forward to this weekend!
Shadowopal
Nice Droachmega! Thanks much. Greg Mount is the Head Jusge for Team Tourney. He is making a descision before Wednesday and I will post his rulings on Friendly. Thanks for your patience.
Shadowopal
Greg Mount is the Head Marshall for the Team Touring and he has made the following ruling with regard to friendly models after further playtesting: "Your and your teammate’s models are considered friendly to each other, except for the purposes of Chain Activations." Sorry for the proximity to the convention. Carry on.
