so with Bert he has a 0 action cb becomes 3:masks:rams which gives him an auto trigger happy which is great. now if you give him massive dose this would increase to 7:masks:rams and seem to be really really good. and at the end of all of it you don't sacrifice Bert due to intractable.

and if you make it so he reactivates and cant die you have a walking machine gun.

Any downsides?

Incorrect. Massive Dose Stimulant increases his Melee CB not his ranged CB.

new plan Bert nurse Nico nercrotic machine.

make Bert have cb 12 with reactivate and can not die (bolster undead for the +2) that's a bunch of hits with a built in crit strike. so something is dying. cb 10 might be fine though. just to save Nico if they reduce Bert to 0 wounds you can heal him with decay (and maybe tac on dg to what was hitting him)

If your opponent somehow hurt Bert until he was at 0 wounds, then Bert would die at the end step. The reason is that you would check for results and states after the effect wears off. In which case Bert would have 0 Wds and no effect to keep him going.

PS

You would have to find a way to keep his wds above 0 at the end of the turn to keep him going AND get first activation while being close enough to the Nurse
