Vinncent
Hello, I have this question, if someone could advise me how to do in a simple way ice icicles on the base and figures? I will be grateful for any advice.
Aaroon42
http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.com/2010/01/tutorial-how-to-make-icicles.html Bam. http://dre4mitsminiblog.over-blog.com/article-tutorial-building-raggarth-s-base-97337218.html This guy describes a different way very quickly at the end of the post. Vinncent
Thank you very much for your advice, but still I wonder, is there an easier way without using water effect...
Truefaith
Cutting the tips off these might work. http://www.amazon.com/Palace-Iridescent-Twisted-Christmas-Garland/dp/B0040T1ZM4 just a suggestion, I have never used them before
Omenbringer
You could also do it with regular old Woodland Scenics Water Effect product and seran wrap. This is the product I use to make realistic looking wet snow (by adding Snow Flock), shallow icy puddles, bulbous ice and water run offs on rocks. It will be softer than the methods recommended above but because of it should be a tad more durable.

eudaimon
I haven't read the links, but the way I make mine with is Araldite. just squeeze some in strips onto a piece of blister, then cut to suit. You can see the effect in my Raspy blog in my sig.
Vinncent
This is the effect I mean, could you write me exactly what Araldite product is it? it's a glue or some other weight?
Vinncent
Ok, here is my attempt to make icicles: I used to make them transparent plastic-thin sections, and clear nail polish from my girlfriend. It seems to me that the effect is quite tolerable for such a simple method. p. s. Don't say anything to my girlfriend What you think? Omenbringer
Those look very good and most importantly realistic.
LordZombie
That is some nice looking ice. When I move to Arcanist, I will have to keep this thread in mind.
