sephiroa
not bad although the black joss isn't something i would do he's more a native americain
Wings
I really like the verdigris on the bases. How did you do that effect? There's an arc of white underneath Joss' left foot that spoils it slightly.
Stern
really nice bases... really nice work!
dgraz
not bad although the black joss isn't something i would do he's more a native americain No offense to anyone out there, but have you been to the eastern US lately?.....he looks about the right color to me. Again, seriously, no offense meant to anyone.
dsmiles
Man, I LOVE that Electrical Creation. Again, seriously, no offense meant to anyone. Why should we take offense? You're simply making an observation. (Besides, I painted up a dark-skinned Kaeris, so I really have no room to talk.)
Ender101
I love your bases, the oxidized copper looks amazing with the gears. Did you make the effect yourself, or did you find some awesome pieces as is?

A.D
Thanks for all the comments guys! The black skin on Joss was a step forward for me as I have mostly only painted lighter skin tones. I will fix the white line on Joss! I got the oxidized effect by first leaving allot of the bigger pieces of junk out side inn a shallow bucket of water (seriously shallow) and leaving them for around 3 weeks so they would be ready for when my models arrived. Then When I had assembled the basses I washed them liberally with 5:1 watered down Dark angels green. Once they were dry I washed them with a 1: 1: 3 of Asurmen Blue, P3 Umbral Umber and water. From there just dry brush bestial brown until your happy with it! A.D Ps There are some swarms on the workbench!

dsmiles
I love the concept. Except that they kind of blend in with the bases, and don't 'pop,' as it were. Your base-work is fantastic. Those are amazing constructions, very steampunk.
