Dead Doxy, Channeling question

This question came up when I was running the Dead Doxy yesterday. Flirtatious Wink says, this model receives +2:tomes when casting or channeling Inviting Approach.

The problem is the rules manual defines channeling as: This model casts a (1) spell. The casting receives to both it's casting and any damage flips.

By the above definition you can not channel Inviting Approach because it's a (0) spell.

I think he's asking why the spell is referencing an action that can't be done. A (0) spell cannot be channeled, so the reference to it is what is causing confusion (if I'm understanding the situation right).

Pretty much what I got from it, haha. Looks (just a guess) like it was a copy of the wording for the lure bonuses from belles/lilitu and that part was accidentally not omited.

No you can't channel a (0) spell, and the wording is not a typo, its future proofing in the event some ability introduced later on allows for a (0) spell to be channeled,
