ragnarok
Hey ive been playing Colette for a while, but so far havent used her in bigger then a 35SS game. I use the generic Colettle list Colette, Cassandra, 2x Coryphee, Performer and Mannequin, Dove and 7 Stones. Im looking to start playing higher point games, but not really sure what models to use to increase the points cost. Kaeris looks good to use, but as the model isnt out cant really do much. Would models work well with Colette to take her to 45 SS, 50 brawwl and 55 brawl SS games. Any help would be great Thanks Ragnarok Edited August 15, 2011 by ragnarok
Sholto
At that point level you are in danger of being out-activated by any crew bring plentiful cheap models. Doves can only go so far to counteract that. You might want some beatsticks at that game size. Johan, Joss and Killjoy are all options. Ranged options like the Convict Gunslinger and the Gunsmith are available. Myranda can work with a Showgirls crew (although it is not simple - she becomes a Raptor, turns one of the Showgirls into a Beast and can then use their spells with her Ca of 6 :tomes), and can boost the spell output nicely. Book 3 gives you some further options to play with, although obviously the models are not out yet.
Uncle
I can pretty much say this sight unseen, that's how specific Collette's crew is. With your current 35 SS crew, drop the Dove and spend the 2 SS to get Collette's Avatar. At 40 SS, take Angie. At 45, take Johan, or drop your cache to a skimpy (seriously) 6 stones and take a second Performer. Collette's crew is very good, but they are also very predictable, at least with what hits the table.
jty3
I just started Collette, and I am in a way relieved that there are less options for Collette. It limits my purchases and means less poring over an army list. It also allows me to buy more figures for other masters!
fishtank
I'm learning Colette at the moment. My experiences so far tell me that the crew needs some ranged punch, and for that you need Gunsmiths. They're coming soon. I'll probably ask my opponents if I can proxy one (or just run a Convict) next time I play.
Drake
Convict Gunslingers are very good addition to the crew..you can take advantage of :rams for a change, so they are not competing for :masks and :tomes... Depending on your opponent, Proxy Angie could be an option, but only really against crews with Terror and other sources of FallBack moves against you, otherwise I'd favour other options. Kaeris is great if you can fit her in...at Brawl size she is an easy choice, at 45ss she could be good, but doesnt really help with activations...however, give her the generic Arcanist Totem and let her unleash the fiery pain.. At Brawl level, id favour Kaeris and a couple of Fire Gamin for more Burning Tokens, and 4ss models helps with activations too...Ramos seems like an obvious choice to pair with her in Brawls..Although Perdita can be fun if you wanna go with an all female force.... Although Joss and Johan are good options, esp with the discounted cost of Jonas, they are not very mobile (although you can disappearing act them ofcourse!) but they dont provide anything you dont really have, as they are melee options, ideally you want to add some ranged options. Hope that helps a bit
Jonas Albrecht
Angelica. If for nothing else, her "Deliver Orders but for Showgirls" spell is awesome. However, you get a lot more. She has a low damage ranged Strike with a Paralyze trigger, an aura that buffs the 'Girls Resist flips, a spell for pushing your crew out of melee danger. She's a big benefit to the Showgirls. Although Perdita can be fun if you wanna go with an all female force.... ...and your opponent agrees to a houserule allowing this.
