OldManMyke
Finally found some time to get started on my first Malifaux crew. Doing McMourning for no other reason other than I love the models. So far I just have the starter box, which hopefully I will get finished this week (this thread should help me) but have some other figures on order. Anyway enough waffle, all comments welcome, hope the pictures aren't too big
osoi
Not a bad start, they have a very comic book feel to them which I think suits the crew well.
Regnak
Yeah, I agree with the fellow above, they have a comic quality about them. I like them, colours are strong and I'm liking the bases!
DAGabriel
Welcome, a nice start. I am just sitting on my first Minis, too. It is hard to do them lovely sculpts justice.
LonelyPath
I like your painting. However, but it might be the lighting but the Nurse at the back looks like she's got very orange skin (she been using spray on tan at all? heheh).
FoeRender
so far looking pretty awesome !
OldManMyke
Thanks for all the nice feedback guys, the cartoon look is definatly what I am going for for me it suits the whole game look and feel. the Nurse at the back looks like she's got very orange skin (she been using spray on tan at all? heheh). Yeah should have said that the back minis are only basecoated, she will end up a lot paler than she currently looks
Jormi_Boced
Looking good so far!
Moondog
Looking cool, I like the green gloves on the nurse in the front, nice work.
OldManMyke
An extreme closeup of McMourning himself. Camera work is shocking frankly as he looks much smoother IRL, but it at least shows progress
Dark Alleycat
Cameras allways catch the harshest lights and angles no matter how spiffy the model i have found. Looking good btw.
OldManMyke
Got some more painting done over the weekend so to celebrate this thought I would add some more photos of where I have got to with the crew. Horrible things went wrong with the Flesh Constuct paint job so it has been consigned to the stripper Anyway Another shot of McMourning. The combat power that is Zombie Chihuahua Nursie (soon to be replaced with a Miss Pack model) Sebastian and his little puppies Woooby Woo and Churchill The crew so far. Next up a couple of crooked men, Bete Noire and the second attempt at a Flesh Construct.

OldManMyke
Got some time last night and at lunch to do the Flesh Construct. To be honest I'm not overly fond of the model (goofy grin and glasses) and have picked out a Reaper model to use as a replacement as and when I'm allowed to use it. Pics of that one later in the week I guess. Anyway, Flesh construct, fresh from death row

Evaine
Nice paint job! And I really like those bases. Are they inserts or did you do them yourself? Edited August 18, 2011 by Evaine Added to post
