  3. Good eye for details and cool painting, wanna see more.
  4. You seem to spend a lot of time on these minis and I like your painting style. Why don`t you invest a little in photography? http://massivevoodoo.blogspot.de/2009/10/tutorial-overview.html#photography

  8. No real update, just started working on it again and ordered new stuff. As written above real life did intrude and I had to put it aside for some time. Started again painting some CDs and the new windmill by TTW made me want to start again. Expect something in about a month.
  9. More news concerning my favorite dealer of resin highs, http://tabletop-world.com/: First the blacksmith forge (88€+p&p) and second a really affordable cottage, (26€ + p&p)
  10. After nearly 6 weeks without painting i managed two sessions again, hope to get some pics on Tuesday. Here the official pics of my commissioned Chaos Dwarf;
  11. Hey Bella, something happening here???? Not so much studying, more painting! Have a look in my collection thread, how do you like the chaos dwarf?
  12. That´s easy, i used the hollow one for the Death Marshal sitting on it.
  13. Here the start to a new Army: Chaos Dwarfs! Starting with my Sorcerer-Prophet (and no, it is the first Mini I didn`t paint myself)
  14. yep, that orange one! Back to the wings of the Nephilim,how do you like tis effect?
  15. Yes, the wings are nice but they could need a wash of Devlan Mud. Is sweet, too, but he needs some more contrast. Why dont you paint the recesses with a first white, ten yellow, then drybrush blood red? Would be like a lava effect, hottest color inside, cooling down to the outside, perhaps a slight black drybrush for cooled down grit/dust whatever on the highest peaks? The shirt of the dreamer is better but not good, another wash with Asurmen Blue to bind the drybrushing in and create more shadows?
  16. This one could be a nice addition to the showgirls, cmon exclusive called troll potion:
  17. That dreamer is sweet, but the shirt is in need of more contrast. If you want a clean look you can either go to asurmen blue,for a little more dirt you could add a brown tone. The legs and feet should be a little darker and the feet need a little more contrast, too. For washin the face of Lilith try a little violet very thin and with a little amount of dish washer in your brush water. After that remove the water and mix a little red into the flesh for cheekbones. Do a little make up! An easy photo setup is on the massive voodoo site.
  18. The next pieces for my Tomb Kings: And for Space Hulk
  19. Hi guys, finally managed to take some shots: And a group shot minus the musicians (lent them to a friend):
  20. Ah, have found you! What is your problem with the skin? I normally start with a dark skin tone, use devlan mud on it and highlight with elf flesh. Some make up with very thin red from a nearly dry brush et voila.
  21. Only a quick "i am still alive"! Have to work an insane amount atm, hope to post Wednesday or at the latest next Weekend!
  22. Hi Winnie, hoffe, du erfrierst mir da oben im Norden nicht!

  23. The Tale of Malifaux Painters - Month 6 and Group shots What was it all about? The aim of The Tale of Malifaux Painters has been to help motivate those involved to start and complete their Crews/Bands in the next 6 months. This is the last thread showing off the results and the statistics after all pics are online. A WORD ON PHOTOS 640x480 seems to work best OR use thumbnails Bigger than this results in the scroll bar of doom for many. The Results of the Tale: in progress
