Victoria
Hello, I'm here because I saw Malifaux miniatures and fell in love. I have absolutely no experience with them, though my husband is quite avidly into warhammer. So when we visited a local gaming store to kill some time, I didn't expect to spend as much as I did. He is quite happy that I finally have an interest in something like this. I am quite excited to get my little crew ready, but very intimidated with the whole process, and with the thought of learning rules, etc! Hopefully lurking around here will give me a bit of knowledge...
Chucklemonkey
Welcome aboard. The base rules are surprisingly easy to grasp, the tricky part is getting to know your crew. Which crew did you go for? Anyway, whether it's game rules or help getting to know your crew there will always be someone here willing and able to offer assistance. Hope you enjoy the game and the forums.
Absolution Black
Welcome to the forums, I'm sure the game will come easy to you! You didn't say what crews you chose ( I assume your husband is diving in too?) Feel free to ask questions in the relevant sections, and someone will be along to give you the answer! Victoria
I chose Rasputina and got the packaged set. I haven't decided yet what I'm going to fill the rest out with! My husband got Marcus.
elril
Good choice and welcome to the forums. May I suggest a great addition to Raspy is the silent one. After that, things are a lot more individual choice.

I know you'll find a lot of friendly people and great help here on the forums, to help you learn to play, learn your crew, and pretty much anything else up to and including a little time wasting! But we're glad to have you here on the forums, we always have room for more!
thetang22
Where in Nebraska? I'm from Grand Island. I assume probably Omaha or Lincoln area?
Victoria
I'm in-between Seward and Lincoln, although I will be in Grand Island all this weekend! Some of my good friends live that direction, so I visit frequently.
Bleys_Bariman
Welcome to the forums! Spent the night in Grand Island on my way out to and the trip back from my sister's wedding (in Chicago) last summer. I didn't get to see much of the state since it was dark most of the way through the state both times. *shrug* Most folk here are helpful. Don't get intimidated by painting or assembling or playing. It can seem overwhelming at first but like anything else, practice makes perfect. Keep at it, eventually you'll find what works for you, playwise or paintwise.
