May be similarities to someone who is neither, but to those that are either Gothic or Emo there is no similarity or comparison. I think the biggest difference is that Emos love popularity, Gothic hates it, we're far happier when Goth is out of fashion and always have been :)

Also, Emos scream for labels and strict dress codes, I know Goths that go around in tartan shirts and blue jeans, Gothic's on the inside. yes, I may wear black, but I find it slimming and it helps hide a few deformities that cause lumps from my FSHD, I also likeit, but I also like other colours (just not white... or pink, lol).

I could go on and on, but the subject really is to vast for a forum... unless we dedicated a entire board to it, hahaha :D
