Mister Monkey
For a roleplay game called Accursed, its done by one of Mack's mates from what I can gather.
Mako
Kickstarter is evil, and I'm staying far far away from it!
Mister Monkey
It is evil, still only looking at twenty dollars so that is not bad *grin*
Mako
True, that's not so dangerous. It always seems to sidle upward though when I do it!
Lussuria
I'm still doing the umming and aaring over Reaper Bones 2....to buy in or to not buy in. My biggest issue with it is that I wouldn't see my minis for over a year. :/ And that's $100 I could have spend getting Epic Marcus and a Rider. Mister Monkey
It will be a good deal, and will give you a LOT of models to practice techniques on..... but postage will be big and as you say you will have to wait a while.
Mako
I saw some of the bones models, wasn't that impressed by the detail on them. Mind you, that was in a store here so I dunno if the KS stuff was better. Postage is always a mare when it comes to this kind of thing, doubly so for you guys I guess! Mister Monkey
Never actually seen any of the bones stuff in real life (though I did come close to buying a cthulhu model off of the local auction site).
Lussuria
Nah neither have I. But I did notice one of the KS models is a reaper mini I own in metal. I'd be interested to compare the two and see how they stack up against each other.
Mister Monkey
It would be, would like to hear if you do As for me, as good a deal as it is, I really do not need that many random figures.....
Lussuria
Yea think I might keep my money for more exciting things. Such as piggies, Marcus and mechanical riders :
Mister Monkey
Fair enough then.... You found a regular place to shop yet or still trying them all out?

But I did notice one of the KS models is a reaper mini I own in metal. I'd be interested to compare the two and see how they stack up against each other. That's what I was saying during the last Bones kickstarter. I had about a half dozen of the same sculpts, but didn't pick up their Bones equivalent to compare them. Lussuria
Think I might pick up the new range minis just on their own and check them out like that instead of full hog all of them. And actually now I bounce between Defiant Gaming, Table Top Empire and Combat company. All have proved to be good and reliable and all have different stuff. But most of my purchases still go through DG purely because of prices and shipping costs.

SteamHammer
Already backing the new Reaper one as they make useful minis to train new painters on. The new Chronicles will give me something to do in the quiet periods. Not too bad otherwise. Still assembling Darklands minis. Started painting Willie. You? Mister Monkey
Stayed home today, managed to tidy the garage a bit...... hopefully get it back to my gaming space again soon. Also managed to paint some more cossacks for my flames of war army.
