SteamHammer
Oh to only have 40 minutes to go. One can dream. I'm not even 40 minutes into the work day yet But pub tonight to look forward to and Gencon minis to assemble over the weekend.

osoi
You see you have me beat there, a parcel came to work today and I was hoping it was a Gencon parcel but alas it was not, so I wait until next week.

I'm joining you with the wait for next week... with that being said I at least get to finish some models for MOAB on saturday week where I'm taking Dead Justice, Puppet Justice and probably Hoffman so there's 3 figures left to go for the weekend
SteamHammer
It was really hard last night to continue painting the peacekeeper rather than tearing into the new stuff. Now I just need to find some colouring pencils for the Puppet Wars colouring book. Should keep me busy next time there is a quiet patch at work. Lord Shaper
Speaking of puppets a friend gave me some of his puppet wars figures so I have another death marshal to paint (after the greenstuff dries) so what do you guys think of a pink coat for the one who likes the high heals
SteamHammer
What shade of pink? Of course you also have to worry about hair and accessories. And you can never forget the shoes.

I was thinking the good old tenticle pink... gotta love that colour!
SteamHammer
Nice. I don't actually own a pink paint, I've always had to mix some up.
Mako
Tentacle pink was a fantastic paint. Until they dicontinued it of course. But I do hear good things about their new one...
Mister Shine
Finished building all my new gencon models! Now I can just work on gap-filling, base coating and painting! The female Illuminated though, man... I could not figure out how that face goes together. I did my best and am gonna fix some small gaps with green stuff when im fixing gaps later ---------- Post added at 05:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:25 PM ---------- On the other hand, every other model was so smooth to put together. Love the way Wyrd generally makes heads with necklinje instead of just a ball that sits on a neck. Mmm mmm mmmmmmm
Mako
That female illuminated was interesting to assemble. I got there in the end but her nose is basically made of green stuff. Zoidberg face is not an easy option!
MudgeBlack
I hear you on that illuminated, took some head scratching to figure how the non depicted one went together. Ended up putting both upper halves together before ultimately deciding on the the Cthullu looking one. That one was a bit of a challenge to get all the pieces in place, lined up and cemented. She's the only one of the illuminated that I haven't painted because she took her dear sweet time getting into the paint queue.
Mister Monkey
Sounds like a pain .... glad I went with the rail crew
Mister Shine
The depleted and beckoners are so good though. Not having to deal with pewter staves/knives/straight objects anymore is a blessing.

i_was_like_you
But do you have "one foot Mei Feng"?? :Hiding_Puppet: *grin* I have one foot original Misaki. I thought she was just missing a foot piece that should be glued on separately. *shakes head* Turns out the one I got was miscast.
Mako
There is of course the toes only illuminated, but mostly they go together nicely. Mind you, the only painting I can do tonight is some acrylics, on a multi layered fish painting I've almost finished. Yes, that's one project down, twelve to go! Mister Shine
I have one foot depleted, but they're TECHNICALLY one foot many tentacles.... ---------- Post added at 06:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 PM ---------- Also remember you owe me a casino/bordello mako. So like, 13 projects
Mako
Oh, crap. Yes. 13 projects. Still at least most of them are smaller than the ridiculous 6mm challenge I set myself. So they might be achievable within one lifetime, unlike that one...
Mister Shine
Oh, Im ordering some brushes from rosemary. Did you want any as well?
Mako
Not this time, I've got my best set coming in my shipping. And I'll likely pick up some spares when I'm back over in April, save on the postage!
