EricJ
I think this is officially Natures way of telling us that, if it wants, it can win: Apparently this is some volcano in Japan last week. And it seems "dirty thunderstorms" is actually what they call this.

nilus
I thought a Dirty Thunderstorm was something else.....Maybe I am thinking of a Dirty Sanchez. P.S.Edit: Note googling Dirty Sanchez is not very not safe for work and might cause damage to your brain

EricJ
this one is fun because it's not my car for all those enjoying this snowy winter! Edited February 2, 2011 by EricJ
Doctor Amos
this one is fun because it's not my car :Dfor all those enjoying this snowy winter! That's a pretty hefty "Fale" thare. I had to drive home 40 miles in this blizzard. It's... good to be home. For those of you in the UK, or elsewhereabouts, it's blowing 20-45 mph winds with 16-24" of snow and drifts 2-5' high. Pipeline
What it's going to look like come the morning for Nilus. Taken from my flat around 10 am this morning. There were 5 foot drifts in the alleys.
Doctor Amos
::selects representative photo from my neck of the woods. That's 2-3' average, drifts being somewhat greater::
Pipeline
Yikes. I wonder what it would be like if I wasnt surrounded by tall buildings. 70mph winds off the lake.
Doctor Amos
Neighborhood children this morning were climbing to the top of thier mailboxes to slide off. No joke.
