Sybelle and the belles

Hi, im new to this game. I have a tactical question : What do i get out of moving Sybelle and her belles at one time, rather that moving them one at a time?

Im refering to the Companion and Simultaneous Activation here.

That could work, but when you are done moving them all, do you end your activation, or can you still attack that model?

In a normal game each round you would activate one model and then your opponent activates a model. And this goes back and forth until everyone has activated.

What Companion does is allow you when its your turn to activate more then one model. So your model might activate one model and then you might activate Sybelle and a bunch of belles.

Its a situational benefit. You won't do it every round but when you really need to take out a model or you are in a really good position, you might be able to cripple your enemy by taking more then one model activation at one time.

That could work, but when you are done moving them all, do you end your activation, or can you still attack that model?

I think you are unclear on how Companion and Simltanous activations work.

When you Companion and activate all at once, you still activate each model seperatly(IE use all there AP up), then you move on to the next model you are activating with companion.

The advantage is you get to activate a whole bunch of models when normally you would only activate one before you opponent had a chance to activate one of his models.

Thanks! So in other words you can get all your belles in melee range and attack with them befor opponent activates! That is sweet!

Just remember that because all your belles will have activated it means your opponent will have a lot of models left to activate when you're finished so be careful how you use it!

You do it to make a sweep on your opponent

Another important note is now to declare it

1. activate a model, if that model has a companions within 6" of it you can declare those models to take simultaneous activations.

2. Activate each model declared in the order you want, using each models full activation before activating the next model.

3. After the last model has finished its activation, the opponent gets the next activation and so on.
