Captain.Danger
I love that red man. YOur scheme is one of the only ones that uses red and green together and DOESN'T look like x-mas Lepoard print looks cool too. pancake ss
Great, i love the green swords i'll give that ago on my own stalkers.
Omenbringer
I like the scheme, but I think the gloss finish is a bit much. It hides a lot of your shading and highlighting. Usually a preference thing though so to each his own. Also I agree that the whitchling swords are very well done.
chunky04
Hmm, sounds like it pretty unanimous against my gloosy varnish. Such a shame - I'm one of those weird people that likes it, but it definitely doesn't help with photos. I'll have to get some dull varnish later in the week. peanut
Such a shame - I'm one of those weird people that likes it, but it definitely doesn't help with photos. Me, too. I think it really looks great, but if i do photos, i try to photograph them before i dab on the gloss varnish. Love your the color scheme of your stalkers. chunky04
OK, a number of people both here and elsewhere have been suggesting I get some Matt Varnish instead of the Satin I've been using for my minis, so with that done - I must say it really makes a huge difference to the photos! Here are by far the best pics of what I've done so far: Edited May 3, 2010 by chunky04 Changed Links

JMGraham
I love how you've worked each faction's primary color into the appropriate models. It makes for a very coherent visual theme that meshes very nicely with the other game materials (stat cards, faction-specific fate decks, etc.). Seamus' base is fantastic! chunky04
Thanks, its something I learned via not actually being a technically good painter - make everything nice and coherent and plan your colours and it will look nice on the table.
