DangerousBeans
Well it's not very exciting, but I thought it high time I tattooed some living flesh and I was kind enough to offer my thigh to myself. It's just above the knee to the right, with space left for tomes and masks (down with rams! BOO!). After it's healed I think I'll go back and try to make the feathers a bit more "swooshy". More importantly though, am I the first person to get a Malifaux tattoo?

Astray
Why would you do this? It's not like Malifaux has been around long enough to really mean something to you and you have that on your body forever.
DangerousBeans
Well it's not exactly like I got "MALIFAUX RULES!" or anything, it's pretty generic by itself. It also goes nicely with my Cryx one Besides, none of my tattoos mean anything (aside from showing I'm a massive geek!)

I'm sorry but I just don't understand how people can brand themselves with logos that mean nothing to them.

I'm sorry but I just don't understand how people can brand themselves with logos that mean nothing to them. been getting tattood for years now and i still dont understand why people have to shun other peoples decisions when it has ABSOLUTLY no effect on them. @beans looks good man...i woulda got it huge like the two bottom parts going down onto my shin ahhaha

Talishko
I agree, some people take tats too seriously. I got one when I was 17 and still love it. Planning to have some more ever since, I'm just too cheap. xD I don't think it's 'branding' at all, if you would actually have a wyrd logo that would be different. This one is cool, I might even consider the skull and crow. Geeky, but cool none the less.
DangerousBeans
It's fair enough, I can completely understand why some people would be loathe to vandalise themselves. Hell, my girlfriend doesn't even have her ears pierced! I come from a different camp however.....
Talishko
...to vandalise themselves allright. But to tell someone else off for doing it is one thing I don't understand. It's not like you sneaked in and tattooed on their forehead in secret.
redstripe
I think we can safely declare this to be the very first Malifaux tattoo. I personally think it is super-awesome. I think you have inspired me to get one for myself.
nerdelemental
Even the Wyrd logo could have staying power beyond your interest in the game or even its longevity. The definition is very cool and worthy and you could converse about it without ever mentioning the game you play (or once played)
Peterdita
Ha! Nice one. I'm of the sort that I think you can do anything you want to your body as long as it doesn't interfear with anyone else. So more power to ya.
DangerousBeans
Wahey! First Malifaux Tattoo to me! :1244: Do I get a present? Or do I need to get portraits of Nathan and Eric? (which would be too far, by-the-way)
DireTrollJake
Malifaux is something in your life in the period of time in which you got the tattoo. So..it has as much meaning as getting a cross on your arm. A bit of an extreme comparison, but ones religious beliefs can change just as their leisure time interests may. I like it
Joona
Yep, it's a nice tattoo. And people who don't know about Malifaux might just think that you like writing with quills
Iron Man
i like it. i have to say i have quite a few tattoos and none of them have any real meaning. i get them because i like how they look. anyone who thinks a tattoo has to have a meaning watches too much miami ink. Too true, I hate Miami Ink. It's because of that bloody programme I know way too many life stories, and am constantly asked what mine mean. My usual reply is, "Um, I like skulls and Alien....a lot". studderingdave
Ork Boy for life baby! right underneath Biggie Smalls (RIP) tattoos are a personal thing, they mean a lot to me, and if other people don't like or understand it, that's on them.
