Hapless Peon
Now according to my research* a Jackalope is a mythical creature from North American folklore that is a Jackrabbit with antlers. I figure until an official sculpt is available for this miniature I should create one of my own. Does anyone know of any good manufacturers who make a suitable rabbit or jackrabbit miniature? I know Reaper have one in their familiars range and I can recall one or two others but I would be open to suggestion. *Looked it up on Wikipedia
Silas Cordell
As a north American, I will confirm that a jackalope is, indeed, a mythical jackrabbit with antlers. However, that's all the help I can offer you.

stephengroy
Crunch-Waffle Enterprise's Jackalope Oh, and they are not mythical -- just infected with Shope papilloma virus. Flying pigs and hoop snakes have not been verified as actual animals however. Edited February 26, 2010 by stephengroy
Silas Cordell
I've heard of the virus, and I agree that that is the ORIGIN of the jackalope, but the jackalope itself is a mythical creature. Also, that mini looks pretty good for a substitute.
paperbag4
Flying pigs are a common sight around the bayou. I can't wait for the model to release. One of the characters in my Deadlands game had an "incident" with a jackalope once. Once.
stephengroy
sadly, the Crunch-Waffle flying pig from Tall Tale Critters is piglet-sized, but has none of their, um...personality.
Uriel
Now according to my research* a Jackalope is a mythical creature from North American folklore that is a Jackrabbit with antlers. Jackleope is to the US, as Dropbears are to Aus... *Grin* -Uriel
Hapless Peon
Jackleope is to the US, as Dropbears are to Aus... *Grin* -Uriel I'd hate to think you are implying that Drop Bears are mythical... One of them killed my uncle.
Wombats
Jackleope is to the US, as Dropbears are to Aus... *Grin* So Jackalopes also drop out of trees and gnaw on the ears of unwary American tourists? How do they climb up with paws? Wouldn't be more effective to charge/dive head first? No wonder they have a high damage flip. So...what is the American equivalent of a Crocopig?
