  1. Hello, I am an experience minis gamer looking into Malifaux. There are so many choices that I'm not sure where I want to start. Are you still playing at Gamescape? Thanks, John

  2. OT, sorry, but I noticed that many of you have the little cartoon Masters... Where/how do I attach these? Is there a library of them somewhere? It'd be very cool to link which Masters I use/will be using. Thanks, -Uriel
  3. Watched a Guild (Sonnia) vs Outcast (Vikkies) game tonight. Turn 2, Hans took out a Peacekeeper with a well placed shot, then a second (Kill Shot) with a Red joker flip. Numbers Crunchers can lambast stats all day, but if you use him right, he can pin down a fair number of models (Outcast player had Bishop,Melee Vikkie and some Ronin moving in whilst Hans provided fire support. The game had the proper 'Old West' feel, and Dammit...that is one cool model (Ha!). -Uriel
  4. Just went top their site, and there is neither any news about a Malifaux bag, or anything when you type Malifaux into the Search engine...Dammit. -Uriel
  5. Is the case really coming out at Gencon, and not before? -Ron
  6. No, Rackham killed my other game... I still play RPGs, but , as far as minis goes, it's just Malifaux right now. -Uriel
  7. Well, the guy playing Rasputina said that we were ganging up on him (Joking), since the 3-way set up left him close to each of us, and we other 2 a bit farther from each other. By turn 3, it was a fairly even mix, though Poor Perdita did get stuck in the middle of it for a bit. I'm still not sure how she made it through a turn and a half on 1 Wound...Hehehe. They were both Arcanist, but they also like attacking each other, so the mayhem was pretty neutral all around. Also, nobody really wanted to charge the Ortegas, in the small valley that I was moving through, that's a LOT of lead... -Uriel
  8. When we all get comfortable enough, we are going to play some 30-35 SS games. I'm tempted to just add the Peacekeeper or the Executioner, but I'd like to see what Papa Loco can do as well. -Uriel
  9. 3 Way Battle, Rasputina, Perdita, and Ramos, 25 Stone each. Bog, plenty of terrain, 25 SS each. (Me) Strategy: Slaughter Rasputina's Crew,Schemes:Bodygaurd Perdita (Not announced),Raid vs. Rasputina's Crew. Perdita Santiago Francisco Nino Enslaved Nephilim (Dave-YamiZero on here) Strategy: Treasure Hunt, Schemes: Stake a Claim, and Hold Out...I think (It was late, and I may be wrong) Rasputina Gamin Cerberus Steamborg Executioner (Bill) Strategy: Reconnoiter. Schemes: Sabotage and Eye for an Eye (I think...again, it was late) Ramos Steamborg Executioner Brass Arachnid Totem Spider Swarm Steampunk Arachnid Turn 1 Mostly advancing, which was difficult, with Bog all around. Cerberus got too close to me, and an Obey sent it back at Rasputina, though it did no real damage. Some Ice Pillars went up. Turn 2 Nino took shots at the Cerberus, Steamborgs clashed, there was much Cyborg clanging and banging... Spiders and Gamins moved forward, to take/deny the Treasure. Francisco shot a few Ice Pillars into little cubes... Turn 3 Rasputina got fed up with Nino's rifle, hit him with a little December's Curse, he fired back, then the Cerberus came back over...poor Nino didn't live to see the Victory Celebration back at the Ortega Ranch. Francisco and Santiago were finally close enough to do some damage, and began whittling away at anything that moved. Dave's SBE met an untimely end at the hands/claws of Bill's SBE, Ramos, the Totem and Swarm. Perdita moved out to the front of the Ortega line...risky, and was just barely out of range to bullet bend a 'Hello' to Ramos, around an ice Pillar. Turn 4 Bill's SBE movd into Melee with Perdita...Hit once for 5,and then missed every other time. That Def 8 is amazing! I also pulled several 11-13s, used 3 Stones and got some lucky draws... She took another point from one of Raspy's spells, and another from something exploding nearby. Cerberus killed the Enslaved Nephilim Totem, but took 2 from the Black Blood (Ha!) Ramos made some Spiders out of spare parts... Turn 5 I knew that winning the Initiative was crucial...and (Of course) I drew 3rd... :| Dave goes, tries to blow up poor 1 Wound Perdita...fails (Draw the Black Joker, Ha again!) Bill goes...and fails to kill Perdita... who then activates, blows the SPA Swarm to ...Er, if we are already stuck in Malifaux, then blowing something to Hell...Anyways, she smokes it. Cerberus grabs the Treasure, high-tails it, Francisco tries to move around an intervening hill to catch /kill it. Ramos and Rasputina snipe at each other. One of the Spider-Thingies finishes the Cerberus(Not sure which one, happened when I was in the...er, getting a soda...Ahem). They REALLY should have tried to kill Perdita with some Extreme Prejudice... Turn 6 I win the Initiative, finally... Perdita pops off a shot, smoking Rasputina, then moves double time back to her DZ. Ramos summons another Spider... Francisco and Santiago blast two of them for fun. Game Ends Me: 7VP Dave: 2 VP Bill: 2 VP Dark Omens was in effect for most of the game, with comical consequences for us, me in particular, when I forgot, keeping 2 13s in hand, instead of fishing with Hero's Gamble. I had never played the Ortegas before, lots of little things to remember. I like them, though. I've only played 2 full games now (Lilith in the other game), and am now 3-0, since we counted this as 2 games, for bragging rights. Sure felt like I was facing an army, with SBExes and Cerberus Sabertooths trying to make lunch out of me. In the end, it was back to the Casa, with poor Nino on a funeral bier, for enchiladas, cervezas and Papa Loco's special Agave margaritas. -Uriel
  10. I played half a game with So'Mer, and neither my friend or I really knew the game well. I decided to back-burner my Gremlins for a bit, and play Lilith and/or the Vikies...
