waghorn41
My hard drive crashed and so far I have not been able to secure a recovery of the data. Unfortunately it happened not long after I'd uploaded a whole batch of stuff including the pics in my gallery here and before I'd done a backup. Trouble is I can't work out how to upload them back to my computer. Can anybody help as I'd like to have a file at home. I assume the problem is prevention of copying due to possible copyright infringement?
Thryth
I don't think that I understand the question. Couldn't you go to your gallery, right-click and save?
Nathan Caroland
Stan has it right. All you should have to do is pull up your gallery and enlarge it and then right-click on the photo and do 'save as' or 'save image as' and you'll have your photos saved back onto your HD. waghorn41
Thanks for that, I thought it should work that way but yesterday it just wouldn't. Works fine now though.
Art-de-Vivre
I highly recomend a free program that will recover most of your files (including photos of course) after a crash or erase by mistake : filescavenger look it up on the net and try it : you'll get back all files that have not been damaged, provided you have not saved some new files on the "empty" space in your hard drive. Cheers !
eastman
And for recovering image files from memory cards, I recommend a program called "PhotoRescue". It isn't free, but the downloadable demo version will show exactly what it can recover before you spend the money to buy the activation key to enable it.
