Bren
As I promised, the reason Master Holt has a yellow coat... I first painted Aiyana, I quite liked the turquoise/yellow combination. So why not on Master Holt as well... the yellow on the back was a bit boring, hence the freehand. It's a bit strange, I agree, but I had fun and they look pretty nice together (if I'm allowed to say so myself ). Wren
Great looking pair! I love the way you shaded the pale blue side of Aiyana's cloak, the cloak is gorgeous looking. Very striking pair, these two. The only thing I'm not sure I like is Aiyana's hair. I feel like it's kind of blending in with the yellow of her sleeves and her pale skin, and that my eye would find its way easier to her face if the hair were darker. Hinton
Very nice color scheme and some excellent painting. Yellow seems to be one of those colors that's difficult to paint and even harder to photograph. Well done.
demonherald
I agree with Hinton there .. The technical side of the colour scheme is very high.. I'm personally not a huge fan of the colour scheme but understand why you've done it and it is very well done ..
waghorn41
Great pair of figures. When I first saw Master Holt I wasn't too sure about the yellow but in this set of pics the 'flamboyance' of the colours suits perfectly.
