Sculpta the squig
Hi all, long time no update. But I got another Graveguard done, no shield yet. Got something special planned for the front ranks shields. Also, obligatory desktop pic. C&C welcome, Squig
Keltheos
Nice work there. And, man, so glad I'm not the only person with a messy painting area. Although yours seems to be more productive than mine!!

Astorderire
They are great! Every colors work perfectly with each other, even the "vert de gris" oxydation! Great job!

Sculpta the squig
Thanks to both of you, love purple and black, lol. Anyways, little bit different this time. This time we got a little ghoul. Flesh is a bit less yellowy and more pasty (colour, not consistency) In real life and he was greatly inspired by Mika's undead. Hope you enjoy: Squig
Sculpta the squig
Done another ghoul, the colours came out more like IRL with this one, hope you like; Squig
lauth81
paintingwise very nice those ghouls. the models itself are shit IMHO (that being not the fault of the painter obviously)
Sculpta the squig
Thanks lauth. I finished another ghoul, god I hate painting these! Blood turned out ncely though, think there might have been a smidgeon of oil orsomething on that bit of the mini, which caused the nice splatter effect. Brushmistress
Hey Sculpta - these guys are looking really awesome. My only concern is that you are painting these guys WAY beyond "gaming" quality! I have visions of you killing someone the first time a bumbling child walks up to the gaming table and grabs your model then drops it. That was a common scene at the gaming store where I worked - the dropping bit, not the killing.
Jabberwocky
Great group you have going--I really like the "dead eyes" of the ghouls. The weathering is spot on as well.
Sculpta the squig
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I have painted some more graveguard, undead are starting to get slighty tedious now, but I'll forge on untill Ihave finished the stuff I've got. Then I might take a break and work on some Empire. Couldn't find the shields, they will be added later. C&C appreciated, Squig
Sculpta the squig
No love for the graveguard? Oh well, same old same old. Here's my crypt ghast, converted to hold the corpse from the box, quite an extensive conversion which I'm very happy with. The pictures came out quite badly though He just didn't want to be photographed! Comments welcome, Squig
Jabberwocky
Nice bloodwork on this last fellow! The piercing on the side of his head looks a bit odd to me--kind of like a snorkle, hehe.
Sculpta the squig
Thanks to all the commenters :8) Blood is made by mixing stageblood, black and red inks and varnish together, then adding more black ink and reapply to where you want the blood and gore to be deep or thick. On that note, I have finished the fifth and final (for now) ghoul, and a skellie, a tutorial for the skellies is coming sometime withing a month or something, am moving to scotland in about two and a half weeks, so things are a bit hectic. So anyway, I hope you enjoy the update, I'm rather pleased witht the skellie, made him out of the "plain" bits in the box and I think he looks pretty elegant for it. Comments welcome.
