DrEvilmonki
I am well over my current job and started sending out my CV a couple of weeks ago. I find out tomorrow if I have a new job and if they are willing to pay me enough to cover the bills.

supervike
Go get em! Dr. Evilmonki.... Here's to hoping they pay you what you are worth, and not what they 'think' you are worth.
DrEvilmonki
Best of luck in the job hunt amigo! What would you be doing at the new job if you manage to score it? They have a web hosting service which has about 300 companies and groups websites. I will be their contact to those people making sure they are all happy campers and trying to get them to get website design, printing jobs, rebranding etc done through the design arms. Also will have a couple of key accounts to look after so I know the processes to achieve all of the different services they offer.
goblyn13
Well Good Luck, sound like it will be a nice change of pace. Is it an outbound kind of Job, Where you get to actually go and visit people or Inbound, where you'll be keeping in contact with them via e-mail and phone? DrEvilmonki
Mainly an inbound role which is the opposite of what I have and to be honest the structure would be pleasant after years of travel. BUT still no word. Will ring them in the morning, possibly the pay packet is giving them headaches.
DrEvilmonki
Well I didn't get the job I went for - they didn't hire anyone for it. They had a guy who had just finished a marketing degree but decided he didn't have the experience. They decided I had the experience but no marketing degree. :stupido: BUT I do have a new job, just have to wait till January to start which is a bit of a bummer as I imagine my current job will drag on even more now. I am becoming a recruiter and once fully trained up they want me to head a team of 3 more who will work under me. The best thing is they actually believe in work-life balance so more time at home (and more time for painting)
Hinton
Congratulations. Hope the new job works out for you and that the current one doesn't drag too slow.
