Stupidcow
Great stuff and I think the photo doesn't do it much justice. Congrats on the win!
green stuff
The glowing crystal is ace, and I admire your patience on the freehand. The left part of the base could have maybe used some extra small rocks to balance the whole.
Hinton
Excellent work, as usual, Eric. I love the browns on this and the freehand is amazing. Nice base work as well.
matty1001
Nice freehand! I really like the little vine thingy on the base.
Sculpta the squig
I love the shiny black effect on the raven Squig
Highbulp Billy
You've achieved a gorgeous "earthy" look and feel to him that's spot on for the character. Well done.
Jubilee
What's the blue thing under the rock in the front view picture? A frog? Nice effect on the gem and lovely browns there. /ali
EricJ
yep, a little hard to tell in the photo, but it's a little blue frog. Just a little tool to tie the accent color into the base.
matty1001
What you have achieved really well is being able to draw the eye straight to the face (well mine do) even though the blue crystal is much brighter and powerful in colour. EricJ
Thanks! there was kind of a plan to that. The blue highlights I knew would draw the eye if they were unbalanced, so I have blue all around the face, staff, birds eye, a touch at the end of the coat, and on the base, so no one draws all the attention, and the eye can focus in the middle of them...which, because the tunic is dark moves slightly up to the face...at least that was the goal, lol. It might just be all sorts of art theory hot air though
